Anyone have any solutions on how to deal with seborrheic dermatitis? Shit is driving me insane.
>>77575635Chinese honey and oat rubbed on twice daily and collagen spray in the morning. That's what I'm doing to fix my shit and it works. I had some good results with Korean snail cream before but that wore off eventually.
>>77575635Picrel completely neuters it for me, I apply it once every 3 days however
>>77575635avoid any and all milk protein/whey
I had a minor case of it. Looked exactly like picrel and covered the nose crease area and the inner area of my eyebrows and it got to the point where a friend asked me what was on my face while we were tripping and I was like fuck this I need a solution now. I didn't realize how fucking gross it looked like up close and honestly think it's part of the reason my ex broke up with me. I usually scoff at medical solutions but was desperate. Mine was 2.5% hydrocortisone cream. I applied the absolute tiniest amount on the affected areas 1-2 times/day, only when I can see it on my face. It got rid of it initially within 1-2 days of use, and whenever it does flare back up I can consistently make it go away within 1-2 days such that it is a non-issue in my life anymore.I noticed the flare-ups being associated with a few bad habits of mine: 1. Not showering for a day or two2. Being a bum for a day or two, ie waking up and shocking my brain with phone use and listening to youtube videos while gaming all day and then getting high in the evening. Could dopamine overload cause it? I don't know3. Not getting any sunlight on my faceAll of these habits are heavily correlated with each other as you can imagine so I don't know the exact cause but I don't really give a fuck. These days, whenever this bullshit pops up on my face it's a wake-up call that I need to go have a genuinely productive and mentally/physically granola-mom day where I avoid my phone, get some sunlight and plenty of steps, get a workout in, fully groom myself early in the day, eat healthy, etc.TLDR: Went full granola-mom brain and body health-optimizing mode + hydrocortisone 2.5% cream on the affected area for TWO DAYS, and it went away. Let me know if you try this and your results.
>>77575635i have this on my eyebrows, and sometimes on beard and crown. before that it was on eyelids. it gets worse when i'm dehydrated, and in autumn/winter. only hydrocortisone cream helps me, but you're not supposed to use it daily. my sister recommended me trying head and shoulders and to do this:>>77575668
>>77575648Yup. There's a shampoo as well
I've used coconut oil with some great success when I have a big flare up. It makes you peel heavily but gets rid of the redness fairly quickly. I can get rid of a breakout fully in about 3 days but it's much better after 2. To combat the dryness, I'll wash my face, quickly moisturize with lotion then wait 5 minutes for it to soak in then use a light layer of vasoline or petroleum jelly to lock in the moisture. Anyone who struggles with dryness, vasoline is a game changer. I work in a meat market with temps below 50F all day and I never get dry from work anymore.
>>77575834>head and shouldersIt keeps my skin clear but if you ever stop it you might get a lot of dandruff and stuff because it really strips away any natural oil you have, or something like that. Use light moisturizer on face if you decide to try.source: haidresser + experience
>>77575834>>77575921H&S do not contain any real antifungal. Nor a proper amount of zinc nor selenium. As said, its either fungi allergy. Peanuts Or milk. The only real difference is that with fungi allergy, the breakout do not heal properly, and instead takes weeks. Meanwhile the food allergy merely requires identification and abstaining
its fucking hopeless, after the shower yesterday literally half my face was peeling off, al the creams and gels can only temporarily hide it
https://www.drlwilson.com/Articles/SKIN.HTM answer is always get on drlwilson's program bro
>>77575834>and sometimes on beard and crownThe crown flakes are dandruff, this shit only appears on the face
>>77575635I have been dealing with this a lot in the past month and what helped me get rid of it was a cream called 'Blue Cap Cream' which contains zinc pyrithione in low doses but you apply it twice a day and it stays on you. This with keto z shampoo (im in EU) and try to lower your cortisol in general. I used to get it a lot after leg days aswell but since i started using the cream it was gone
Actually insane how facebook mom tier shithole this place is when the non-cope solution costs less than $10 in any pharmacy
>>77576068>contains zinc pyrithioneHow did you get that? It has been banned in the EU for a few years now.
My dermatologist gave me this new shit called Zoryve (roflumilast). Works like magic. Easy 1x/day application, fixed full redness and flaking under my eyes, nose, and forehead. Non-steroid, it's an enzyme inhibitor so it's not supposed to be bad for you skin. It is ridiculously expensive, they charge my insurance $1000/bottle. Before that I would use ketoconazole 2% shampoo on the face twice a week (also RX in the states). That had mixed results.
>>77575981>>77575635Coconut Oil. Before every shower on the face for 5 mins. Only shower lukewarm and let the shower water rinse the oil off. That’s the only thing that worked for me and it works great, but be consistent.Guys saying not to eat whey, get some weird chemicals or oats and shit are retarded. You can eat and do whatever you please other than staying up late.
>>77577211>roflumilastI can only find that as pills and it is for some lung disease.
>>77575635>cant into rubbing kiwi on your skinfound your problem
>>77575635I struggled with this and/or eczema for ages, and what finally solved it was getting an allergy test from a dermatologist where they tested me for like 80 common irritants by stick patches all over my back for a couple days and seeing what caused it to act up. Turns out my skin was really irritated by 2 or 3 common ingredients in all kinds of soaps, detergents, shampoos etc. Started being more careful what I used and it finally cleared up. Have you tried testing what your skin might be reacting to?
>>77577211>My dermatologist gave me this new shit called Zoryve (roflumilast).>ROFL-UM-I-LASTThis shit sounds like a leddit-tier dad joke about forever chemicals, my sides are so far in orbit I can't even.
>>77575635Do a toxin and parasite cleanse. Chlorine dioxide protocols are good. Can also try rubbing CDS+DMSO.
>>77577211>$1000/bottleHow long does a bottle last?
>>77575635Go to a derma and/or get some sulfur treatment. Everyone else in this thread is a fucking idiot.
Quit alcohol and lose fat. It worked for me
>>77578706>hurr durr just liftThank you for this productive answer.
>>77575791good point that acute lifestyle is a factor here, I've experienced it too
>>77575635I had itching and flaking pretty mild but persistent. it was annoying and embarrassing. Urea-based skin gels that you can buy in the supermarket or pharmacy cleared it up after about a week. I spent years suffering from this shit when the solution was right the
MCT oil. C8 only. Avoid shampoo with sodium lauryl sulfate. C8 MCT inhibits the yeast thing. Unironically it has made a huge difference to my skin. Drop applicator for scalp. Hands is fine for your face and rub into areas it is bad. Apply most evenings. Dab off the excess if you don't wanna walk around with a shiny face but I try to let it sink in. Unironically try this. I hope it works for you anon. It did for me.
>>77575635If you're sure it is SD then >>77575648 This is actually a good recommendation, but this will only soothe your skin and not actually get rid of it.SD is an autoimmune condition and its aggravated by stress. But it is technically just fungus growing on your skin. What worked for me above everything was Ketoconazole as a shampoo which is relatively cheap. In my country I was getting it for 2 USD. Far more expensive in the US and also in some cases you need a prescription. You can apply it to your scalp and also any other affected area. My dermatologist said to use it once every three days and then once a week. Unfortunately I have no idea how long I should use it and I have no access to it anymore. If you can't get it at least reduce stress and shower daily. And if you face skin is giving you problems then wash your face as soon as you wake up and as before going to bed. It is incurable (or chronic), so you better find a way to manage it.Do not use steroidal creams especially not often like some retard is recommending. Yes, it will soothe your skin as well but the side effects are more severe.
>>77575635What’s the difference been that and psoriasis?
>>77575834Women are retarded. Why listen to one?
>>77579098Didn't work for me.
Don't listen to these retards recommending some over the counter shit or oils or something go to the dermatologist and get a prescription. It sucks that I will forever be enslaved by the industrial revolution and its consequences but it beats literally offing myself from being itchy all the time and literally scratching my face off.
Ice cold showers, clears it up for me. Take a few days or so but the results are much better. There is diet stuff too, carbs seem to fuck with my shit too. the cold showers can be annoying but the years of itching stopped which is bliss.
>>775756352% zinc pyrithione soap.Honey also fixes it but it is a sticky mess. Not convenient.
>>77575635Cause is shitty microbiota. 1.oral antibiotics to target your strain specifically (yes this shit is caused by bacteria in your gut and skin) 2.At the same time medicasp or H&S otherwise you'll get a fungal overgrowth because you're killing bacteria3. Most important: you've to make lifelong changes change your bed sheets regularly, no more than a week. STOP EATING ULTRA PROCESSED "FOOD" STOP EATING SWEETS, CUT THE JUNK FOOD TO 0 FOREVERExcersice regularly from now on after the treatment it clears your pores and boost your inmune system to actually fight bad bacteria. If you live in an environment with people that had the same issue, whether it's your partner or family then you're fucked if they don't do the same thing because eventually you'll catch it back.Keep in mind these bacterias are part of everyone's skin microbiome the difference is in some people they overpower the rest of the competing bacterias and/or have weaker inmune system to fight them back.
>>77575635look at this red motherfucker LMAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>77584028one thing I forgot to point out, any cream or treatment given to you by most dermatologist are going to target the inflammation only not the root cause and you're going to spend tons of money and years of your life and get side effects for nothing, find a dermatologist that actually knows what I'm telling you.
>>77575635Bleach solution, topical
>>77584033No bully please
I had to deal with this shit for years before figuring out my situation, YMMV:Stuff mentioned in this thread like ketoconazole and/or selenium sulfide can help keep it down once it's less severe, but for me these were never enough to push back on an outbreak that was getting bad.To the point, try out vinegar. I lightly scrub with a rag to get rid of the dead skin flaking off, and use a bottle of white vinegar I keep in the shower to saturate the affected areas, then wait in burning agony for 20 sec to a minute before rinsing it off. If you've got it really bad, you'll probably want to do it again but after a couple days once the skin has slightly recovered from the previous usage (you'll have to gauge for yourself based on how much the vinegar fucks up the affected areas). It will hurt like hell, might even be a bad idea if you have very sensitive skin. Regardless It'll definitely fuck up your skin in the affected areas and you won't want to be seen public for a few days. But its the only thing I've found that immediately reverses it. Works well preventatively too, I'll occasionally cover my scalp and face with vinegar when I think I'm fine but then discover a small patch somewhere that burns.
>>77575644don't listen to this faggot. here's what I did: goat placenta, monkey sweat, electric hat.

>>77586502Did it help?
>>77575635Try the grapefruit facial scrub with the little rocks in it
>>77575635There are a number of factors involved that cause seb derm:>compromised skin barrier>demodex mites>malassezia yeast >poor gut health. As already mentioned, MCT oil (C8 or C10) is a good choice to combat seb derm, as is zinc pyrithione (Dr Eddie's Happy Cappy brand). Ivermectin (horse paste) when applied to the face can reduce demodex mite numbers, too. Additionally, cease eating goy slop, as internal/external yeast infections thrive on high sugar and fastfood.
For me I noticed it's highly connected to my diet. Have to cut all diary and most meat. I seemingly can still consume eggs. The reaction to food comes a bit after eating it. I recommend trying an elemenation diet, OP. I haven't gotten rid of the condition but put it heavily into remission by fasting a lot and cutting out foods left and right. Hope we can get out of this shit. It's killing my self esteem and test levels.>>77577140Not the guy you are talking to, but I bought a couple bottles off ebay. I eventually got caught by the german goobermint and had to stop after receiving a warning.
