I spend quite a bit of time out doors.
For general hiking/camping/hunting or range use I use wrangler ripstop cotton cargo pants.
Cabelas Redhead brand also makes a comparable option.
I used to use 5.11 tactical pants and still have a drop zone ops set (50/50 nylon cotton) which were nice but really the 2-7x cost over wrangler wasn't worth it for basically the exact same thing.
