Are the new Lacoste tracksuits /fa/?
Bump
>is slopwear /fa/no
Takes a certain person to pull off shit like that.
>>18786060This is what teenage parents wanting to dress their toddlers in to signal status to the other parents in kindergarten. I can think of no application of this attire.
>>18786060I can see niggers and browns wanting to wear this. At most I'd wear the jacket at gunpoint
>>18786603i.e. a handsome white man in his 30s on his way to/from a high end gym
>>18786644more like bulgarian drug smuggler on his way to/from a business transaction
slim fit tracksuits are disgusting
>>18786661unless the intention is to look like a complete scumbag, he wouldn't really "pull it off"
I wear my tracksuit to the basketball court where I remove it, play in my short addidas shorts and custom basketball jersey, and when I'm done I put them on again and head to the pub or home. You guys arent wearing them out as proper clothing, surely? That would be disgusting.
>>18786670Kek there was a parent wearing one of picrel to our kids Highschool graduation. I was one of only several men in a suit. Most of the women dressed well but most of the guys were in t shirts and cargo shorts. The fuck is wrong with men these days?
>>18786060I hate the monogram print. Lacoste tracksuits never caught my eye. They were just big brand name logo and not much effort put into the design. Sergio Tacchini, Kappa, and obviously Adidas reign supreme and the last 2 mainly get by because they're iconic. Not a fan of what Sergio has to offer right now, they had some really nice stuff 3 years ago.
>>18786060matching top + bottom is nafri tier
>>18787257>Not a fan of what Sergio has to offer right nowso basically you like nothing?
>>18786060When are they dropping?
>>18786060Tracksuits only work if you are a mobster or a war criminal.
>>18787284How do other people know either of those?
>>18787273They're ok. If you want a basic trackie they got some good stuff but I have several tracksuits, there's no standout that I want to add to my collection. Still good stuff if you're just starting, I already have my basics covered. They have some stuff that I almost like but they're doing that monogram thing too and it just ruins those suits for me, though someone else might find them attractive. They had some really cool color block stuff before. I have this jacket with matching pants from 3 years ago. t. Slav>>18787284Do you come up to people wearing tracksuits and ask them if they're a mobster or a war criminal so you can judge their fit appropriately?
Forgot the jacket pic
>>18787273They had this before but when I went to look for it my sizes had ran out. They pretty much just have velour tracksuits and no nylon wind suits right now.
Another one I'm sad I missed. Also was sold out when I went to look. They're bound to come back eventually with this stuff.
Gymshark had this cool one but it says gymshark across the back in big letters and that ruins it for me.
It's funny no one has their good stuff anymore. Venum had these cool 90s style tracksuits too. I was partial to them since my boxing gloves and shin pads are from them. Give it a few years and maybe they'll bring them back. Maybe not. People mainly just like basic shit and in black, everyone is scared of colors.
>>18786060Isn't the material too heavy and it feels likeshit?
>>18787363It's regular tracksuit material, what the fuck are you on about.
>>18787337>>18787336>>18787332>>18787331I want one in this kind of style, I have too many that are the modern type without interesting patterns and colors.
>>18787374Diadora has some but they're not my thing. Also the modern ones are actually more 70s style where they're very basic. The color block ones are 80s/90s style
>>18787380thanks for the tips, slavanon
>>18787387You're welcome. You can also look for vintage Sergio stuff if 2nd hand is your thing. I'm hoping the spring collection will have some colorblock windsuits, that's usually when they come out
I have to correct myself. ST does have some nylon wind suits but none of the fun 90s colorblock stuff. I think I searched up every brand I like and no one has anything good out right now, just basics.
Spoke too soon. Umbro has this, not colorful but I like the panneling.
Alas, it's one of those things where if you have to ask if it's /fa/, it isn't /fa/ for *you*. Someone who could pull it off would not be asking that question on the world's most eminent imageboard for twinks and homely looking anorexic chicks; they'd just wear it because they like it.
>>18787404ST has some 100% cotton ones tho. who else makes 100% cotton track suits?
>>18787450Adidas has some where the body is 100% cotton. I actually found they have this cool coca cola collab red tracksuit. Gonna buy that. It's 100% cotton. They also had some nice poly cotton blends.
>>18787455link? everything I see on the site is mostly poly
>>18787459Well the coca cola collab trackie is cotton you can google it to find it. I didn't bother looking through other stuff. All these things come and go. I looked at ST again after what you said and couldn't find any 100% cotton ones either. You don't have to link it though, they don't have anything I would buy now. Adidas Beckenbauer tracksuits came in 100% cotton at some point. You just gotta keep your eyes peeled.
>>18787460lineo collection on ST is cotton
>>18787462It's unfortunate because it only comes in awful colors.
Need a silk tracksuit, maybe I'll do custom..
>>18787465Get silk velvet if you have the money. Also if you want to be smart about your money book a trip to vietnam or anywhere in SEA and have it made there. Will be cheaper with the flight and everything than having it made in NA. You can also keep in touch contact with that tailor and now that they have your measurements you can have them build stuff for you and ship it.
>>18787284or if you're working out, or lounging around, or running a quick errand
>>18787466Definitely a good idea. I've also heard of tailors that will travel to Western countries a few times a year, take measurements, then go back to SEA and complete orders and mail them.
>>18787468Don't waste your time talking to people who unironically view wearing regular clothing as a LARP.
>>18787469Haven't heard of that but if you can find one go ahead, though I think they'll charge you a bit more than a guy who just stays put in his jungle.
>>18787473Oh for sure, but tickets to vietnam from here aren't exactly cheap either.
>>18787475I wish I could tell you how my ex girlfriend bought tickets. She would find stuff for $500 and later we would see those same tickets be almost 2k. What color would you get your silk tracksuit in? I would imagine something basic looking for the panels would be best since the material will already be eye catching. You could have piping added for details. Piping around the zipper and up and around the collar would look nice.
>>18787480Not sure yet, I might look for patterns first to see what's out there. It will be nice to have one without obnoxious branding for once though.
>>18787592It would be a shame to go custom and get something too basic. Maybe do some panneling like this >>18787328, no need for a color block, just have the piping accent the panels. If you go to basic it will just look like you bought some $30 tracksuit. Did you think of doing an embroidery somewhere on them?
>>18787725Oh definitely not doing a basic one. I'm not sure what I'd embroider, I'm too boring and it feels like getting a tattoo, right?
>>18787739Yeah it's hard to find something that really speaks to you. Maybe your initials make a cool monogram, think of like what Epstein did to his clothes. I don't know.
