I typically wear suits in size 54 from Berg&Berg and they fit me like a glove. Bought the same size coat and it feels very roomy. It’s a raglan coat though so it is supposed to run larger. What do you think? Should I downsize? No /tip/ thread so posting here as a thread.

It looks normal on you. You could try a size smaller but I think it would be too tight then
>>18785949It’s good but the sleeves are short.
Unless you could do custom I wouldn't bother, it's too roomy and also short on sleeves. Maybe you could size down and send it to a tailor for the sleeves, if you don't mind it looking more like 3/4
>>18785948As others have said, the sleeves are too short. The size is fine. The sleeves are so short that it's a non-starter.
>>18785948Are you tall? I have the same problem with sleeves on most every garment, nothing you can really do about it besides wear a shirt with long enough sleeves under it. Looks good besides that.

Thanks anons. I took to my altercation shop and gonna extend sleeves by 1.5inch and take material off sides reducing circumference from chest downward by 2.5inches. Hope that’s gonna sit much better.
>>18786058Yeah, I’m 6’4” and just so used to my sleeves being short that I had to have it pointed out first here.>>18786065Sperg&Sperg. I still love their jackets, trousers and shirts. Sizing there is always perfect. I was surprised how different was that Raglan.
