I'm a big fan of their short-sleeve work shirts. Tough, affordable, and they look kind of industrial/punk if you're conscious of the rest of the stuff you wear (if that's your bag).
All the dickies stuff I have feel amazing in hand, in terms of being substantial.I love their pants especially, I got 2 cotton ones after years of living in 874s and I'll get good use of them this season. Some stuff I saw looks meh in design, but not their shirts, shirts look good.
imagine wearing clothes from a brand called ‘little dicks’
I like that they have double front pockets on some of their shirts
>>18784737A lot of their clothes are too polyester-heavy for me. The 874s have a nice silhouette but I hate the way they feel on my skin. Also heavily played out
>>18784737The plastic doesn't breathe at all and they all have a poor fit.
>a legend at workI still have my originals around here somewhere. All black. Double titty pockets. Had them since the early 2000s. Buttons still glossier than a nigger's forehead.
>>18785125>874sIve been searching for a fully cotton alternative to these for such a long time but can't really find anything with similar aesthetic and fit. I don't think Dickies themselves make one. Gramicci comes close but i want belt loops. Slim and tappered chinos are a travesty.
I have a couple pairs of their coveralls that I got for super cheap as new old stock from a thrift store. the fit looks great & I love them for work but the plastic makes them look cheap. common problem for dickies. if you want nice-looking cheap workwear carhartt is a better bet
>>18786112Ben Davis Trim Fit, just be mindful even the trim fit is pretty baggy.
dickies gives me the ick
>>18786854I love dickies but the quality has gone downhill. >Make knockoff Carhartt workwear with worse materials >their core product (874s, double knee pants, work shirts) are noticeably thinner I still wear dickies but I like Ben Davis better for trousers and Carhartt for work wear (which even though they’ve gotten worse it isn’t nearly as bad as others).
