If the vast majority of women absolutely hate bras then why the fuck are they still around? This is something I never understood. Every woman I've ever met talks about how much they hate bras and how the best part of the day is taking them off after work and more and more women are beginning to go braless. But from my experience the vast majority of women still wear bras and it's still the default. And then my question comes why are bras still a thing? Why are the majority of women still in bras? Wasn't there like a massive movement back around the late 60s or early 70s to get rid of bras? Why have they stuck around for like more than half a century after? What happened to the whole movement? And I am aware that some women do need the support but if that's the case why aren't bras just a niche uncommon thing only for those women instead of the default for everybody?
Last thread was alright $500 and under. Vintage, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, microbrand, budget Swiss, whatever you’ve got or want. No judgement. Post your coffee, discuss your house, anything goes.
Went thrifting today for a fit for a vampire-themed dance this weekend, love this fit but any input on what I could improve? Not sure what to do with my hair desu but have a few ideas
Thoughts on a black leather bomber? Is it a decent mid season jacket? I want something that's not too generic but not formal.
Why are clerks in brand name stores so snooty and cringe? They feel like they're giving you the cure for cancer instead of some marked up made in china resell It's such bizarre behavior. They seem to think they are doing you a favor for interacting with you and doing their jobs lmao This does not inspire passion or loyalty for their brands at all
Can anyone please fucking tell me how to build some aura through outfits? I want to experience a girl looking at me like this just at least once in my life.
how much does hackjima make grifting his name like this being a model for literal who plastic slop companies?
I personally dont mind looking slightly gay after dressing up, however whenever I try wearing one of these, I always end up looking like a south korean "pErFoRmaTiVE MaLe" instead. Which is unacceptable. Are there any tricks to make these look cool?
Anyone know how to find tshirts that make you look not fat if you’re kinda fat? I’m not super visibly fat a hoodie hides it completely but I feel very uncomfortable in a tshirt and haven’t gone out in one since like 9 years
Who makes effay barefoot/wide toe box shoes that are available in the US and not outrageously expensive? I started wearing Altras a few months ago to alleviate hallux rigidus and it worked but now I can't wear anything but wide toe box shoes. And most of them look like gym shoes. What I really want are some nice leather boots or loafers. Anyone else in the same boat? I found this brand but they're expensive as shit and don't accept returns since they're in Yurop.
I need advices /fah/. I am growing my hair long once in my life before I go bald. I'm about 12 months in and probably have about 18 months to go before I reach maximum length. In the meantime, should I style it for flowing waves or just finally embrace the curls and figure out how to make them look nice? I've never liked curly hair but I am getting used to it and think they might look pretty if I know how to take care of them. Also hair general please
What do you guys wear at home? I live by myself in a small apartment. I rarely if ever get guests (not that I'm socially isolated but my place is just far too small to host), so I just honestly stay naked all the time. Maybe I'll throw on some boxers, maybe I'll wrap a sheet around myself like a toga, but most of the time I'm just naked with the AC or heat on depending on what the weather is like outside. In movies, or on Youtube, Google images, etc. I often see people wearing full ensembles just to sit around their house - jeans, belts, undershirts, button-ups, etc. - they're dressed up like they're going to a cafe just to lounge around on the couch. That seems really weird to me. But maybe I'M the weird one here and that kind of shit is actually common all over the world, I don't know, I can only speak to my experience. So I figured I'd ask.

I'm a big fan of their short-sleeve work shirts. Tough, affordable, and they look kind of industrial/punk if you're conscious of the rest of the stuff you wear (if that's your bag).
Anybody else notice how when american girls joined in unison to stop wearing ballet flats in order to avoid being objectified, american guys basically lost interest in pussy and now these american girls are poor and alone, crying themselves to sleep in their ugly ass skechers sneakers?
I run my hand through my thick flowing hair... but something is off... It has been like this for a while now but for how long? it's hard to say nothing looks wrong from a glance, my hairline is still where it always was... but running my hand through my bangs feels different than running it through the back or sides of my hair... my bangs feel... thinner I peer at my follicles, they are noticeably fewer and and mote far between at the top and front than at the back and sides... but has it always been this way? Is the great canyon that rears its head when I part down the middle any wider now at 21 than when I was 17?? I don't know I wasn't worried about this back then and then I see him... the norwood reaper he is far off in the distance, just a speck on the horizon But it is undoubtably him His approach is too slow Too slow to notice at one time But it is ever present My father had been taken by the reaper before I was born I always knew he would come eventually, and back then, even a few years ago, I didn't care But now that I can SEE him, feel his approach His figure terrifies me
I’m a big fan of both cyberpunk and the Gothic subculture, so this style sounds like a match made in heaven for me. But it all looks like cringe mallgoth shit. Is it possible to pull it off tastefully?
( I'm gonna reddit space because I'm autistic, cry harder chuds ) I don't care how much you gonna bully for saying this But as a 23 years old man with heavy eczema Silk is a godsend, I want to buy entire collection of 100% silky clothes, even silky bedding Like I'm thinking about buying a silk long sleeve shirt, with momotaru silk jeans Silk undershirt and boxers Breathable shoes, like raw natural leather I'm gonna make a very uninteresting outfit that only serves me A fit that looks normal, but very comfortable And wearing silk doesn't make me less of a man
Give me some recommendations for online shops in the EU area that actually sell nice blazers, suits, pants and shirts, etc. that are made from wool, cotton, linen and not some polyester blend. The price range to be obviously in the triple digits.

I thought I wouldn't post this but I must. So long story short I went to this gothic afternoony (you know that thing) party, the co-organizer is a gothic alternative chick I like very much. I followed the previous advice I asked here, I put effort into my goth attire: - Comfort dance shoes for plenty movement and techno dance mini jumps. - Halloween orange thighs highs - Traditional Ukrainen embroidery inspired shirt (because Slava Ukraine) . - Gothic Scholar Lolita skirt. No miniskirt = Alt rnative but Law-abiding citizen - Fishnets, an emblem of alternative and bold yet suggestive outcast souls (hide and not). - Dog collar, kinky IYKYK but this wasn't successful, she saw me some times and looked away, she avoided the place I was at. It was my first time there I found myself at home, they were inclusive and I took turns at the ballooj throws and habdfun. I'm not sure. maybe she shy or nervous or whatever. I can handle rejection and avoidance tho, I respect women. Tldr give attire/styleadvice. I had fun so I plan to go to these events.
Average USA female measurements: >5'3.5" height >38.7" waist Average USA male measurements: >5'9" height >40.6" waist The average person is so incredibly far from what we've identified as ideal model measurements it should be a crime. Hopefully GLP-1's are able to reduce caloric intake, but nothing will make people exercise more. Our work culture in America has made everyone extremely ugly and unhealthy. They say people in Japan dress well but really they've just got scaled-down proportional model measurements for their height. I guess it can't be blamed all on work since Japan is also very competitive. How are you aspiring to ideal measurements or proportions? What are your measurements? I'm on the short and fat side: >5'11.5" height >42" chest (I bench > body weight) >31" waist I started a high-protein low-calorie diet recently and have been seeing progress in the waist area. I walk about 4 miles a day and gym 3x a week.
Why do the most nasty, ugly looking ass people always the ones trying to give others advice on what to wear? Do they just not own a mirror in their house or someshit?
Tourist here, I am not much for fashion, but there' a thing that has always mystified me. Why is it that fedoras used to be so common, and many men wearing them looked striking, yet elegant and respectable wearing them, yet they have become synonymous with ugly nerds. I looked for pictures of modern men trying to pull the look off, yet I couldn't find a single one, pictures ranged from the aforementioned cringey nerds, to even otherwise handsome men who still couldn't pull the look off. What gives? Is there some supernatural curse involved, or you can still make it work, and if so, what do you need to do?
This is literally all you need to make it in life Imagine spending 1000s of dollar trying to look special and still be a loser
/hairmaxxing/ general - hair is love, hair is health! If you are experiencing thinning of recession, it might not be "Androgenetic" Alopecia, your hair is a representation of your health. There are no bald animals in nature, unless they are in severely stressful environments, and humans are no exception. The hair loss industry does not want you to know any of these because it does not generate them any money, same corporations who sell ShamPOO (it's on the name) are the same ones who sell Fin, Dut and Minoxidil. Scalp Inflammation -> Mobilization of DHT -> Scalp Tightness -> Oxygen/Nutried deprivation -> Hair Loss Genetics do play a role, but it's not like some people do not have their T transformed into DHT and others not, rather they happen to be more resistant to it, but what if there is DHT mobilization to the scalp at all? Holy Trinity Fix Your Diet: Protein powerhouses raw meats, eggs and raw dairy, hair needs cistheine and methionine to grow, you will obtain these aminoacids from these foods. Avoid processed garbage food and gluten. Quit Shampoo: It stresses your scalp by stripping it from its natural oils leading to overproduction, ever wondered why it does get greasy after a few days? There are natural alternatives you can use, that not only nourish the hair, but do not have all the toxic garbage shampoo has. (Raw eggs, rye flour, etc.) Your ancestors never had to rely on shampoo, you do not have to either. Daily Sunlight: People with AGA and Alopecia Areata tend to be deficient in Vitamin D, and promotes growth during the anagen phase of the hair. 20 minutes of daily sunlight should be enough, you can do it during morning/dusk where UV concentration is the lowest, if you eat the proper foods, you will be less likely to get sunburnt. "There are not any scientific studies or evidence." No shit, there will not be any research if there is not any economic incentive to do so.
Are leather car coats and similar styles cool or are they boomer jackets? Feel like it's always old people wearing the longer jackets
/balding/ and /finasteride/ general - hair is love, hair is life! Sticky: http://tuxbell.com/index.php/Balding Reminder that if you can clearly see down to your scalp when your hair is wet, your hair is thinning, lots of small new hairs sprouting at the hairline or crown is a sign of hair recession. Holy trinity: Tabs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finasteride Lotion: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minoxidil Shampoo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketoconazole Finasteride/Dutasteride are 5-alpha reductase inhibitors that prevent free T from being converted to DHT, a byproduct of testosterone that serves no purpose after puberty but to choke out your hair follicles and make them thin out and die in a few short years, a condition known as androgenic alopecia. 5ar inhibitors prevent your hair from getting any worse, mild regrowth is expected, rapid onset diffuse thinners see a significant recovery on fin alone. Can be taken orally or topically. 5ARIs are not dosage dependent, taking as little as as 0.2mg daily fin can reduce serum DHT by 68%, while 5mg reduces by 72%. 0.5mg daily dut reduces serum DHT by 95%, but is considered a second line treatment, and can be more expensive and harder to get prescribed. Start with fin. Fin has been used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) for 30+ years, it's very well studied and is tolerated well in almost all men, however, there's a 1-2% risk of erectile issues in controlled studies. These can be avoided by reducing dosage, spacing out dosage, or stopping the drug. Fin takes days to fully bio-accumulate, the half life of fin is about 8 hours, adverse effects occuring within minutes of starting fin or persisting long after stopping fin are not real and have no basis in reality. Please note that dut has a much higher half-life of 5 weeks, if you're prone to fin sides, dut may cause them for far longer. Refer to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3481923/ before responding to PFS trolls.

So I have this great Austrian army goretex parka https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn_x3QnPZUI but I cant figure out what shoes to wear with it. This niga is wearing some basic cheap salomons whereas I wanna wear shoes that low key make a fashion statement and of course jive with the jacket. I do have the austrian parameme boots, but that's going full larp territory, this jacket needs black sneakers and I cant decide which ones?
I know a male cashier who has a neck tattoo like picrel. When he was young he thought that he was a tough guy, getting a prison tattoo on the neck, like "fuck wagies! Fuck minimum wage!". Anyways, now he's 40 years old and he's a cashier. It was already humiliating, being the though guy cashier. But since last week he got a new manager who told him that from now on he has to wear a TURTLENECK everyday, kek. I just saw him at his job with his beige turtleneck, totally humiliated, kek.

Every time I go to a new barber, they give me a new haircut because they ask me how I want it and I don't know what to say other than "half long" How do you even describe a haircut?
When the roofed automobile made hats optional, they became costumes of subcultures and lost all neutrality. When a subculture completely colonizes an item of clothing, it leaves zero room for an outsider to wear it neutrally. If you wear it, you are either participating in that subculture or you look like a tourist who stumbled into the wrong section of a clothing store. Let’s look at the scoreboard after digging through centuries of human history: Baseball caps: Ruined by sports tribalism, corporate branding, and trashy youth culture. Fedoras / Porkpies / Trilbies: Ruined by neckbeards and pick-up artists. Panama / Boaters: Ruined as obnoxious, weather-inappropriate indoor cosplay. Boonie hats / Bush hats: Ruined as outdoor NPC/Cabela's hunting gear. Newsboy / Flat caps: Ruined by try-hard Peaky Blinders vintage LARPers. Docker / Miki caps: Ruined by modern streetwear/hip-hop crossovers. Sailor caps: Ruined by maritime and niche leather subcultures. Skull caps / Beanies: Ruined as ghetto, skater, or winter-only gear. The global catalogue of hats is officially empty. Every single shape, brim, fold, and piece of fabric ever invented by mankind has been tagged, claimed, and weaponized by a subculture, a political movement, an internet meme, or a sexual fetish. There is no neutral, un-stigmatized piece of fabric left on earth that a guy in a plain t-shirt and cotton pants can put on his head.

You are literally shackled to time via a chain around your wrist. They call it a 'watch' because it's your overseer, making sure you adhere to your schedule like a good goy. Slaves literally pride themselves on how much money they can spend on the fanciest shackle to wear around their wrist. And the best bit? They all look fucking terrible, but you keep deluding yourself that it's signifying class or taste. Watches are the ultimate goy toy. I never wear a watch.
can any zoomers tell me what sneakers are in fashion nowadays. i'm 21 now, haven't truly socialized with people my age since like 14 or 15, and stopped caring at some point about showing off. that said, it's time for a new pair of shoes, and i don't want my doordash crush to think i'm some type of incel (i am). can someone tell me what shoes won't make me look like an incel.
The endgame for fashion as a male. This is all you need to wear for the rest of your life. Basketball shorts by adidas Fleece hoodie up or down if you're balding shave your head and cover it up to protect against shame and the elements Polyester tee underneath Sandals or tennis shoes It fits in any occasion any weather, any comfort. Maybe as you get older drop the hoodie and turn it to a plain T-shirt , baseball cap, but let's not get too crazy. The shorts and sandals stay.

I'm trying to find a specific long black coat, but I can't remember the brand or the exact model. It was either a long coat, an oversized jacket, or possibly a trench coat. The material and overall look were somewhat similar to James Sunderland's jacket from Silent Hill 2 that kind of worn, slightly rough, matte fabric texture. Not exactly sure what the material is called, but it had a similar appearance. I vaguely remember the brand or manufacturer being from Northern Europe, possibly one of the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, etc.). It was completely black and had a fairly long silhouette. I've been trying to find it again but haven't had much luck. Does anyone recognize this style or know any brands that make something similar? Any help would be appreciated.
