What could possibly go wrong?
>>156136554and his daughter plays the devil's daughter!that show was excellent, we really didn't deserve it. It nailed intrafamilial conflict.
>>156137117Yeah i liked it too. Also uncensored Milf titties
>>156136554Not enough people wanted to fucked the daughter so the series failed
>>156136554First time even hearing about this. Looks like a Netflix show. How was it?
>>156137978yeah! would have been nice to see chrissy too, but.. baby steps.>>156138183whaaat, she was cute and pubescent, everyone wished we were in her class. we'd be nice to the weird girl. alas, we never got to meet any.
>>156136554the only thing i remember about this was when danny devito was tweeting to promote the show but he didn't mention anything about the show so it just looked like he was having a mental breakdown
>>156138516Ahahahahahai'm sad he broke up with rhea perlman..
>>156138516I had a frame of the show as a TTRPG prop but everything else about it was mid at best.
>>156136554Interesting show utterly failed by its character design (and poor marketing I guess?). I remember liking most of what it tried to do, both comedy and plot-wise, but every single character looked bland as fuck. Sad it didn't even get a S2, that final epidode had cool cliffhangers
>>156139490what would you have asked for in character design? I mean, the devil starts out all badass and cool, assuming he has a son, then quickly changes to something more like what a girl would want in a simple, soft dad, so that's why HE'S boring.. her dumpy friend is boring looking because he's supposed to be harmless. The neighbor lady is bland for the same reason. but Chrissy's cute, her mom's ripped as fuck and has interesting tattoos. and the demon designs are great.
>>156139717Chrissy's best alts were the goth-like and red-dress ones, her standard is too plain. Same for satan. I understand why they look the way they do on their basic fits, but I wish they weren't so.. boring. Maybe it's the artstyle more than the characters? Satan taking on a generic guy form makes sense but at the end of the day he's "too" generic for my taste, if not for devito's voice all I would remember about the character is thar he wears something green. Her friend (benny? I don't remember) was whatever too, you could have grabbed any kid design in her class/school and they'd do the job. Any ethnicity. It did work for the neighbor, and the snake butler and assorted demons were cool, but with demon characters you can usually have a lot more freedom.Dunno there's something sterile about the way they look. Haunted hotel (there are other examples but this is the first that came to mind) has a similarly plain artstyle but its main characters look alright.
>>156140008That's fair. It's hard to show interesting people who are deliberately trying NOT to stand out, and be appealing about it.
