You can enjoy both like Cow and Chicken and Batman TAS, As an adult you can do the same thing with enjoying shitty but funny reality shows like the crap on Tru TV and the smarter stuff. I don't think I'd have understood many of the episodes or jokes as a kid. They say "get bent" in nearly every episode and I was genuinely surprised at the amount.
