>>156133439It's a rather common case of a really menacing villain carrying an otherwise mid show. The plot is fantastic when Belos' threat looms over the cast and they are being forced to deal with it, but when Belos is taking a step back and the protagonists are left to their own devices? Holy fuck is it lame. It's pretty much the exact same story as Star VS when Toffee isn't around.It doesn't get much attention, but I gotta give credit to Gravity Falls for making its episodic plots engaging enough that I'm not left wishing for the main plot to take over.
