>Action Comics is the first American Comic Book to reach Issue 1000
>The Amazing Spider-Man was both the first single character and originally monthly American Comic Book to reach Issue 1000

The problem, however is that neither of them have run strictly monthly their entire run, have been renumbered several times, and (in ASM's case) may have included other series in their issue count. If you collected all 1000 issues of either, you're not going to see them go from #1 to #1000. You're going to see no less than four Issue #1s.

Is there ANY American comic book that:
>Has kept a constant monthly schedule
>Has never been cancelled
>Has never been renumbered or renamed

You can hate todd mcfarlen and you MUST hate erik larsen.

But at least spawn and savage dragon didn't do none of those 3 things that you said
