It's obvious that Star Wars shines brightest in animation, so why isn't there an animated show set during the New Republic era yet? (Forget about Resistance)
Is it actually good or what? TCW was occasionally good but Rebels killed all my interest in animated Star Wars.
>>156131469What? Rebels was awesome
>>156131409>New Republic era yetsequels are poison and Disney is lowkey seething hard about it and micros the fuck out of all sequel things in the settingDarth Filon is slowly, subtly trying to unfuck the setting by puzzling out the space between the OT and ST, but its likely he'll spent his entire life doing it and it won't be enough. They should just declare the sequels non canon, but they are all cowards.
>>156132353Did you watch Mandalorian season 3? It's obvious that they're leaning to the creation of the First Order
>>156132453You saw it that way?I saw it as literally a reference to the 90s shattered empire Mofference used in some of the early SW lucas arts books. I was unironically expecting a DARK GREETINGS somewhere. And now he's remaking the Thrawn trilogy.I mean, yes, it's very likely Filoni will try to tie that to a sort of "exile of the first order" sequence. But it don't really make sense that some sort of tin top autocracy in the middle of nowhere, formed from the defeated remnants of groups that were literally scavenging to survive, can make a sun eater nuke (formerly death star III). Literally nothing from the sequels holds up on close inspection, its really poison.
>>156132585Imo the only thing in the sequels that is going to be hard as fuck to explain is how they managed to built the Starkiller Base and how it was strong enough to destroy the New Republic. The cool thkng is that it can be a complete wild west worse than the clone wars now that there is no jurisdiction in the galaxy
>>156132632Lad, you forgot the thousand ship fleet of portable death stars
>>156132679They were hidden in Exegol, and The Bad Batch showed us that Exegol existed since the beginning of the empire
>>156132728It still stretches believability to the point of breaking. Suddenly, the death starts and Sheev dying in the second start is completely meaningless. He could have just sat on exegor and ended the entire galaxy whenever.
