>>156126895Drag everyone down to where Mike Tyson is the strongest physical fighter, and emphasize the fact that Batman is meant to be a genius detective and that his villains are PhD.-holding maniacs. Hardboiled and hard science rooted in 60-80s technology, with 90s being cutting-edge prototypes. He's still going to be strong, but a goon with a baseball bat or a wooden chair getting the jump on him is going to have a real chance of winning.Basically the 90s animated series but with more emphasis on investigation and analysis.

There would be at least some focus on Bruce Wayne and an out-of-cowl supporting cast, and Batman would be determined, but not a grim insane asshole. No constant talk about dead parents or the mission. It's fucking played out.
Bring back the horror-fused Wonderland appeal of Gotham. Nolan did too much damage making Gotham a realistic city, it needs a heavy level of surrealism again.

Killer Croc origin - not his early life, his start in Gotham. Croc's own physical and mental deterioration mirror the collapse of Gotham from the 'light and campy gang crime and serial killers' to Supercriminal terrorism. Croc enters Gotham as a mysterious man-in-a-trenchcoat, executing a plan to take over the cities gangs and rule it as King Croc. Ends his story as the monstrous lizardman, unmistakable for anything human, shaking off the lingering effects of Deacon Blackfire's Cult brainwashing that drove Croc to wander mindlessly through the sewers as a cannibal and become the Killer Croc. This timeframe also begins the story with Croc's first confrontation with Batman also being the first night he has a new Robin under his wing, and ends with him regaining enough of his sanity in time to face a Batman without his Robin.
