It started very gay and annoying but with potential to mature into something way better, and for a little while that seemed to be the direction it was heading in but even at it's peak it was still too gay and wasted way too much time on townie shit and on characters that should never have been part of the main cast like Sadie and Lars. Then the show completely shat itself, any semblance of promise or good writing was thrown out the window and the only reason to keep watching was to see how big of a trainwreck it would end up being.

I miss Steven Universe but I am concerned on what Lars of the Stars will look like visually, given some of the recent CN reboots (Regular Show being clearly rigged now & Adventure Time Side Quests dropping the old style altogether for also clearly rigged animation)I already thought the later seasons and Future looked kinda rough but it can always get worse.

>>156128479I'm not saying there should have been no townie episodes at all, it's fine to have some juxtaposition between his gem life and his normal human life with Greg being sort of in between both.The problem is that too often townie episodes were shoved right in the middle os seasons and completely broke the pacing of the gem sections. Not only that but I genuinely believe Connie and Greg should have been the only humans to get directly involved with the gem side and I still question whether Connie fighting and Stevonnie were sound choices.
