Did Brom murder Ichabod in the woods that night?
>>156122275No it was the headless horseman, but Brom was later executed via hanging for aiding the British during the war of 1812
>>156122275i'unno ,I wasnt therethat he got carted off and married that excitable chick from the party, I prefer that ending.
Ichabod is the villian of the story.
>>156122364This. This is not the face of a man who just got a good look at the top of Brom's head.
>>156122576It really subverted expectations.
>>156122609I like to think the headless horseman is 100% real too, but it is established that Ichabod sees monsters under his bed, to the point where he thinks the animals are giving ominous warnings and the trees are banshees. It's not impossible that it was Brom all along, but nowhere near as scary as depicted, we are just seeing Brom's disguise through the terrified eyes of Ichabod that makes it more visceral than it acutally is.
>>156122275I think the Headless Horseman was real, but Ichabod did manage to escape that night. After all, there's still so many single mothers to have invite him over to dinner.

>>156122576There are really no heros in the story, Ichabod is merely the protagonist. Both Ichibod and Brom are going after Katrina in no small part because of her wealth and Katrina is more than happy yo string any suiters along until she gets what she wants.
>>156122275I thought he just ran away and never came back
>>156122275No, the HH got him.
>>156122275no, he just scared him away from the town
>>156122791Incredibly based. Everyone is an asshole, but Ichabod is my favorite. He is a parasite in an unfair system.

>>156124134How did she get the calories to get that fat in 1790 in a small farm village?
>>156124313She’s just short
>>156122791I don't think Brom ever expressed interest in her because her dad is loaded, that's all Ichabod. Brom is more so into Katrina because she's the hottest, and because he's the village Chad, he's entitled to her.
>>156122275no but he should've

>>156122651Ichabod is a scaredy cat but he isn't delusional. He realised how he was making up dangers in his mind in the woods once he focused properly. Even in a scared state he would have recognized Brom this upclose.
>>156122791>>156124022Brom is quite nice compared to Ichabod. All he does is tell a scary story after Ichabod acts like a douchebag to him to get to Katrina.
>>156122275I recently read a theory that it was actually Katrina's father disguised as the Horseman
>>156125097makes sense, since the chance of Ichabod becoming his son-in-law, while very slim, is not zero, just remove him from the equation to make that chance zero
>>156125097You're close, but the horseman is actually his European cousin.
>>156124134ZAAAMN
>>156122275In the short story no he scared him awayIn the cartoon the horseman is real
>>156122275tf kinda name is BROM?!
Only learned a few weeks ago that the Mr. Toad part of this movie is where the disney weasels come from.
