why did this show in particular get treated as some great return to form? it has the same issues as every other modern tv show that it spins its wheels the entire time with nothing happening until some cliff hanger in the final episode. whatever happened to economy of storytelling? this had some of the stupidest characters in Star Wars, Maul included, so that it could stretch out what would have been a two episode arc in Clone Wars into a full season.
Nobody cared about this though.

>>156120668because despite everything, people liked maul and devon's little dynamic (every other nucasfilm show having the same premise) i do agree that it has all the same structural pitfalls as every other disney show though, here it's especially egregious that the titular character is more of an extra than some of the other shows like kenobi and ahsoka
This dickhead has to be the worst jedi we've ever seen depicted. Single-handedly makes the case for the destruction of the order being a good thing.
