Lucy's a main character who keeps feinting at an arc, but its becoming increasingly clear that the only reasonable way for her to change involves 600mg of lithium taken by mouth twice daily, and that's not really a satisfying character arc. It could be, I suppose, if it becomes about a more stable Lucy trying to put back the pieces of the life she broke while she was chemically imbalanced, but that would require her to face lasting consequences for bad behavior in the first place. With Faith I don't expect any kind of change in the first place. And, as far as I'm aware, she doesn't have an army of people trying to justify her behavior.

I hate how much of the dynamics of the comic are completely dependent on 2008 etched in stone horseshit to move anything forward. Feels stagnant and over-indexed on the delusional OTPs when basically any side character has grown out of their anchored dynamics.
