I used to daydream a lot and the first franchise I would have imaginary plots and stories as a 5 year old was with the Teen Titans. I have since expanded to world building and making original stories and characters and after rewatching this series, I immediately went back to daydreaming about the show where my characters come in

Keep in mind, the thing he went meta about is repetitive stories, something fans have (rightly) complained about for years. Its bizarre seeing readers get offended when a writer agrees with them.

Fang appeared just a couple episodes ago, and showed himself to be quite the fighter, and is a pretty uniquely designed character unlike Hotspot. Any attempts at a "new" Titans past Wolfman/Perez always end up being a Ship of Thesseus (is it truly the Titans if all the classic members and rogues have left?)You could make the argument it might be worth it if the run is good, but New Titans is hardly any better than Layman or Taylor's runs. Raven has a mom, but they’ve never been particularly close because of the circumstances of her birth, giving her a surrogate child would kind of give her a chance to learn/grow.
