Do you prefer heroes that worked for their powers/skills? Or do you prefer those that were granted them/born with them and decided to use them for good?

>>156110194i prefer them to forced upon randoms for bad reasons, like jack hawksmoore
>>156110201…yes? Anon, the internet has been mostly mobilefags for years.
>>156110201>tripfag trying to pretend he’s better than a mobilefaglaughably pathetic
>>156110194I prefer characters with good stories rather than hyper fixating on superficial aspects like some kind of autistic retard
>>156110194both are fine, both tell different stories entirely>Do you prefer heroes that worked for their powers/skillstechnical heroes like batman showcase human ingenuity and problem solvingthis is a good premise>Or do you prefer those that were granted them/born with them and decided to use them for good?people being given ultimate power and using it for good showcases human capacity for selflessness this is also a good storybut they arent mutually exclusivecharacters who work hard for their skills often also acknowledge that they still had some kind of "gift" that allowed them to surpass other people who put in the same amount of study and practicedr strange spends all day studying and practicing his powers, but everyone acknowledges that he is still a magical prodigy while people who are suddenly granted super powers still need to work hard to develop their potential captain america did initially just get by with super soldier serum powers, but he still needed extensive training and good old experience to hold his own in the big leagues
>>156110194I don't really prefer either. Comics and manga show that both can work to tell interesting stories. Batman and Spider-Man both being prime examples of either way working. Batman's cool cause he's a human that pushed himself into leagues of superhuman, Spider-Man's cool cause it's like watching what your life would be like if you were gifted powers.

>>156110201So what?
>>156110194Sure.
>>156110774This is why Batman/Superman are a good comic pairing despite having next to nothing in common.
>>156110774>both are fine, both tell different stories entirely>but they arent mutually exclusiveBest answer.
