This movie destroyed Woody's character for the sake of having a flavor-of-the-month girlboss, unnecessary sequel. Even the developer commentary blatantly stated it was an unexpected demand forced into existence by upper management after the studio tried to make the third movie a proper ending.

What's funny is that if you actually deconstruct the narrative of 4, its a story of Woody selling his soul under pressure, and as a consequence loses all his friends and is abandoned to the wilds.
