>>156106155Dr. Doom's my favorite Marvel character and i've loved him since i was a kid, but i agree. he's becoming just another "super powerful supervillain guy" just like Thanos and Darkseid with little care about his character outside of that, which is disheartening because i think Doom's best weapon is his intellect. sure, he's pretty strong, but he still gets his ass kicked by the F4. his strength should be in his intelligence. scheming, inventing, that sort of thing also, as other people have pointed out, almost all Doom stories involve him using another character's power. Silver Surfer, Molecule Man, Purple Man, The Beyonder, Scarlet Witch, etc - and it's all far more interesting than Doom just being super powerful on his own or even his robbery of those powers being used for the sake of hype moments just to make him a "Thanos-level" boss fight
