>>156099605This show was surprisingly enjoyable after season one. There’s also some scenes in recent episodes that unironically have some of the best animation timing I’ve seen in a modern cartoon. It’s not good in a golden age SpongeBob way and I feel like it’d work well if it was a standalone thing but I guess that’s what spinoffs are supposed to be.
It's genuinely a fun cartoon regardless of being a SpongeBob spin-off, I appreciate that it lets the artists go absolutely wild with shit that would be out of place in mainline SpongeBob.It's just nice that a fun goofy artist-driven show gets to exist while the industry is going down in flames.>>156099866Patrick Show is like the opposite of SpongeBob. SpongeBob was perfect right out the gate but Patrick Show took some time to actually get good, Bubble Bass Reviews was the first time I remember unironically enjoying an episode.
