Welcome back, Chicken Little.

At a certain point 80s nostalgia has to die, these studios need to accept that basically nobody in their target demographic has any living memory nor any affection for that decade and they are just alienating them by continuing to fixate on what was, essentially, the equivalent of referencing the 1940s at the time.

>The 80s
Exactly 1 (one) song on this list if from the 80s

Is this movie actually going to have a villain this time or is it another "no villain/le "villain" is misunderstood and actually good" Disney movie?

The big marquee credits song by Hailee Steinfeld is a cover of Magic by The Cars, dipshit.

There's a hag villainess, yes, but she's the grandma of the MC so zero chance they kill her. She'll be redeemed and the true villain will be generational trauma. Again.

More intergenerational trauma.
The "villain" is the protagonist's grandmother.
I bet it's an allegory for Filipina woman moving to America so her child has more opportunity but the child doesn't fit so she goes to the Philippines to learn cultural roots. The child is not accepted by the natives for being too American. Basically Josh Luna the movie.

They should have called it Konichiwa Dude and the Stinky Food.
Who should voice the anthropomorphic stinky food in the good version?

Disney needs to fucking die, they’ve had a stranglehold on western animation for far too long with everyone seeing them as the gold standard. People aren’t wrong for now hating on their awful 3D style they’ve used since Tangled but the same kinds are likely the same types to also want Disney to go back to 2D even though that company sucks and doesn’t deserve to be the one to revive the 2D theatrical market.

That is not on this list
