It’s pretty well universally agreed the Marvel Disney+ shows damn near killed the entire MCU so Marvel not wanting to do shows anymore makes sense. I don’t care though, I’m never going to get a standalone Daredevil trilogy of Man Without Fear, the Elektra Saga, and Born Again with an Elektra Assassin adaption that’s hard R and helmed by an actual director so this can suck my balls.

There's something in Sag-Aftra (which also applies to streaming services) that once a show hits 3 seasons, writers/actors/crew are entitled to higher pay and more benefits due to the ongoing success, which is why you commonly see shows shows axed after 2-3 seasons or re-named something else to get around this obligation.

It's bit of a monkey's paw situation how Daredevil/Kingpin is basically the only true archenemyhood in the entire MCU and they still managed to fuck it up by making it TOO prominent. I get why they didn't, but maybe they should have stuck to the original Netflix guys' plan of having season 4 revolve around The Owl or something instead of doing the Kingpin again for two seasons
