And now for Fantastic Four.

Last time in the FF’s tie-in, Reed decided that in order to extract AoR-Beast’s message and save Magneto, they would have to assemble the team for a more “radical” procedure. But a few moments later, they wake up in a foreign place with no memories of who and where they are. After relearning their powers and realizing that Sue had intentionally locked behind parts of their brain that allows them to access their memories because otherwise they turn into mindless aggressive beings, they realize that they are inside somebody's body – Magneto’s body!
>>
This will also be the last time FF will appear in these threads for now as they have no other DNX tie-ins after this. Unless Brevoort decides to have another X-Men/FF crossover or something.
>>

>>

>Magneto’s immune system has the same powers as him and that’s why the FF had to shield their brains and fight invisible creatures while inside his body
Okay, that’s kind of a fun explanation to the weird quirks of this tie-in. Not sure if this will ever be brought up again, but it's there now.
>>
>>
As is with these types of tie-ins, the epilogue takes place after the event has ended. Thankfully however, it doesn’t actually spoil anything about the ending of DNX.

Previously, the X-Men-616 realized that Gambit-295 was impersonating their Gambit and Rogue-616 told him that while he could still be on the team, she was not going to leave her Gambit for him. His rejection leaves him to contact this reality’s version of the Thieves Guild’s heist engineer Oseyun, and accept the impossible heist of raiding the Lost City of Saul – a task that even Apocalypse-295 could never accomplish in his life – in order to prove to himself that he still got what it takes.
Meanwhile, Gambit-616 began his quest for redemption by searching for the Morlocks of Earth-295…

And now for Tomb of Apocalypse.
>>
Last issue, Jubilee met Rictor and Shatterstar who revealed that they have been trapped inside Apocalypse’s tomb after Rictor wanted to try to communicate with him regarding the decision of not making him his heir. Together they ventured further into the tomb to solve its puzzles and defeat the Hydra mercs trapped inside, and Jubilee finally met up with Logan after they got separated. Continuing their journey, they find a giant sarcophagus that Apocalypse warns Jubilee must not be opened. Realizing that Apocalypse had manipulated the layout of the tomb so that they could get directly to the Hydra mercs, Jubilee tells him to fuck off, while Rictor realizing that Apocalypse had in reality communicated with her the whole time and ignored him once again, demanded an explanation for his actions. But in doing so he accidentally used his powers and opened the sarcophagus, containing a giant robot version of Apocalypse…

It's the end of this miniseries. Previously, Bishop moved into a unit in Sheepshead Bay, the same place where he had spent his childhood in his future. Being reminded that tomorrow would be the anniversary of his sister Shard’s death, he decided to have a drink with Storm and vent about how he feels indirectly responsible for causing her death in the first place. But when he was walking back to continue working on his unit, he ended up meeting Shard again, who had traveled back in time prior to her death. Shard reveals to Lucas that she’s traveled back in time to stop a group of criminals known as the Final Brotherhood who have decided to target and kill Lucas due to them believing that him having traveled back in time is the true reason why Earth-1191 exists in the first place. Lucas attempts to try to change her fate, but Shard reacts negatively to that as well as believes that Lucas had become too soft spending time in the present. But after defeating the Final Brotherhood and sending them to the jail in Earth-1191, Shard gives Lucas a spiked ration bar and reveals her true mission – Bringing Lucas home!

It’s time for the finale of Big Guns! Previously, Wade was back to living with Blind Al after a merc job ended up causing his daughter Ellie to get apparently killed by getting sucked into a black hole. But after the discovery that Blind Al had mysteriously gained precognitive visions, they together went and restarted Wade’s merc business by exploiting the people that were about to face various bad fates for lots of money. Unfortunately, Wade’s healing factor has mysteriously mutated and every time he lost a body part, that body part would regenerate into a deformed version of himself known as a “Badpool”. The Badpools’ continued rampages ended up getting the attention of Frank Castle, who blamed Wade for their actions and decided to hunt him down. During Wade’s merc job to steal a gun that could shoot through time from a decommissioned SHIELD facility, Frank followed him in and fought him, but Wade was able to trap him inside the facility. When Wade returned with the gun to his client Black Hole, Black Hole revealed that he had hired Wade for this job due to him succeeding in the merc job that lead to Ellie’s apparent death, and summoned a bunch of Badpools loyal to him to steal the Time Gun from them and then suck them all up in the black hole inside his chest. But Frank has now broken out of the facility with the help of another item inside the facility – his War Machine armor! What does Black Hole want with the Time Gun? How does Bullseye fit into his scheme? And will either Frank or Wade be able to stop him?
>>
And just like FF, Punisher will be out of this thread for now after this issue.

So I guess both titles ended up getting something from this crossover: Wade gained a new HQ with a bunch of tools and vehicles inside and Frank got back the Frank Machine armor.
But man, did this finale really suffer from being only 20 pages. They really should have just used up an annual for this finale and get 5 pages more at least.

I will never give a single solitary shit about Kwannon, especially not this writing her as if she's just 2010s Psylocke. It's like they did the switch back and thought that if they changed the name "Betsy" to "Kwannon" nobody would really know or care.

None of those were good, they were only better in comparison to what we've gotten over the last 10 years. DNX and MacKay's run as a whole is objectively better as an actual story than most of the post-HoM stuff,

I started reading post-2015 Secret Wars and I would never refer to that as the good times. I developed standards and read older comics

Wait, is Cyclops/Psylocke a thing now? That'd be kinda based.

Maybe anon meant they're pushing that angle again? It does feel odd they would since they're finally bringing his wife back from space.

I'll admit
I'm liking this gambit comic run
Not sure I'd say it was a stand out that everyone should buy, but I have been enjoying it more than I expected

Yes. Anyone who finds garbage like Brubaker or Fraction's runs better is brain damaged.

I think this time Shard dies by being executed for letting Bishop get away.

Psylocke looks like Taki, but without the humoungous bazongas. Or the ponytail. Or the bare arms.
Actually scratch that.
