Alice was containing the DD cores which she took from the DDs killed by the Sentinels at the entrance of Cabin Fever labs before The Solver could make them go into matter collection and turn into eldritch centipedes - and kept them in an oven where the heat keeps them "sluggish" and docile. When the Sentinels break in after The Solver destroys the door controls, the Sentinels kill Alice and then a Sentinel kills Beau by ramming him into the same oven containing the DD cores in a big gush of oil and blood, crushing the oven. The finale is obviously the big climax, of course all the action is going to happen here as they try to stop The Solver. There's still quite a bunch of important information shown to us in the finale and we get stuff like J and V's dialogue to eachother which ties up a bunch from previous eps. I think it was pretty good. Not perfect but a fun ride that makes me wish there was more
