Osomatsu. It started as a manga a long time ago, its about 6 twin brothers. It had a manga in the 60’s, an anime in the 80’s and was renewed in 2015 where they’re all grown up NEET’s. Its pretty silly, theres a lot of merchandising for it in Japan and it leads to risque fan art and media. They’re cute!

Four seasons and a movie. I thought the movie was pretty good. Probably because it was Kara-centric. But the riceballs in the 3rd season just killed it for me. I found them so unfunny.

I think there was some drama at the end of season 4. It took them months to air the final episode, and I don't think there was any explanation. Just an announcement at the end of episode 12 that 13 would be delayed, and then silence. After that, it seems unlikely we will see any more seasons.

oh my god, i totally forgot about those things. It's like they were so fucking bad my brain refused to even keep the memory of their existence. They were so, so fucking unfunny i remember skipping any scenes with them lol
Also, there's more than one movie right? I know there's one that focuses on their high-school selves, i think. Anything karamatsu-related is good enough for me, i'm glad he's a fanfave...

You're right. I think there were 3 movies. Hippo Tribe and Takoyaki. Neither looked particularly interesting to me, desu. My favorite parts are the SoL scenes, so maybe Takoyaki party is worth checking out.
