"party" is a stretch. there were 5 total people, counting my wife and I. we don't really have friends like normal people. it was wife's rabbit business partner & her husband and a lady that wife and business partner sold some rabbits to and have formed a 3-way text "friendship" with.

The couple are very religious Protestants, therefore dont really participate in the actual observance. its not like we try to pierce the veil or speak tonthe dead. we just step over a flame and mark a transition from the light side to the darker season and welcome the new year in hopes of a good breeding season and celebrate the final harvests.

we dress appropriately to observe the occasion.
