What am I supposed to have in the fridge? What do normal people have in their fridge? If a girl were to open my fridge, what would she need to see to think I'm normal?
    >>
I have no idea anon, I have the same question
    >>
    Some liquids, like water
Butter, you use it because it tastes better than other oils.
    Some sauces, mayo, hot sauce
Some veggies, a cucumber, an onion.
Some leftover food in a sealed container you made a big batch of that you eat over multiple days
Preserves you opened but which cant be left at room temp, jam, olives..
Hard Cheese that you grate over the food you made

Am I not supposed to have something I can offer to guests, if guests randomly come over? Or do people buy food specifically in case they have guests? I never have anything to offer guests, so if someone comes over, I need to know it so I can prepare.

    >Am I not supposed to have something I can offer to guests
You can if you want and if it's important to you. But remember that stuff in the fridge doesn't keep forever; make sure it's something you can eat if guests never come.
If it's a planned visit, you can buy stuff in then.

An unexpected guests wont expect you to make them food or anything. That would required planning ahead.

If you want you can stock stuff in the freezer that can be microwaved, like sweet breads to eat with coffee. Ice cream. Candies/chocolate.

If you want to be able to make them a lunch you can stock bread ingredients. Cold cuts of meat, cheese, spreadables, tomatos, Sourdough bread. Bread can be easily frozen too.
+ drinks. Some people offer alcohol.

The OP picture is a good example
NPCs are basically children and like visual variety so they don't like too much of a thing in a fridge (including empty space)

What kind of person opens somebody else's fridge? If a girl opened my fridge I'd slap her in her stupid face.

    >what do normal people keep in their fridge
Diary (milk and yoghurt plus cheese), vegetables, fruits, cold cuts, whatever meat you're cooking up in the next days, a few cans of beer or soda, some jars (opened jam, pickles, etc), some leftovers, condiments. That's basically it.

Most of it is stuff that expires quickly because that's what a fridge is for. If you're eating like a retard don't try to look normal.
    >>22268701
    >half of fridge is shelf stable beverages
Bravo retard, just keep what you're drinking in the evening in there
    >>22268703
    >Am I not supposed to have something I can offer to guests, if guests randomly come over
That's typically shelf stable goods. Biscuits or whatever. If you mean dinner, it'd be the same thing you'd eat.

    t. normal person extraordinaire

You shouldnt fill your fridge with anything you dont plan on eating soon after. How about you ask: what meals and recipes should i cook?
Your fridge will then automatically contain the stuff you eat and need.

That being said if you dont have milk and eggs at home to make some pancakes youre not even human.
