Sliced roast turkey, havarti, mayo, mashed potatoes, stuffing-flavored chips on a roll. I know the turkey looks dry but I have a bowl of gravy for dipping (enhanced with black pepper, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme).

No cranberry. I know it's popular but I don't like sweet in this and I can't be the only one that feels this way.
    >>
cranberry mayonnaise is really good. I respect your opinion though

OP here, forgot to mention I’m Indian and a former temple prostitute (mtf trans). Yes I eat cow dung

But for real that looks tasty. Could use some lettuce or onion, maybe, for some refreshingness. I'd also have toastied the buns and smushed it a little.

or like a spinach aioli or creamed spinach, just for some color. very beige sandwich
    >>
    >>22265059
I was gonna say spinach, but defaulted to lettuce since it's more common. I always made my sandwiches with spinach, lettuce just felt like crispy water, but spinach felt like it was real and nutritionally beneficial. Guess I should've stuck to my guns like my mom always tells me to. Was afraid of the backlash over getting called weird for suggesting spinach leaves on a sandwich, and I caved.

I prefer a tiny bit of cranberry or lingonberry jam on the side instead of on the sandwich. a little sweet to balance out the savory but not so much its freaky.

If you're gonna be 100+ lbs overweight you may as well just eat nice food instead of this disgusting dry poorly cooked slop

    >Sliced roast turkey
    Problem detected.
    You don't slice roast turkey.
The texture becomes funky, and is not suitable for a sandwich, unlike its smoked turkey breast brethren.

Instead, pull off "chunks" of the roast turkey,
If you don't believe me, then try it.
Something about the mouth feel / texture is much better.

    wrong on both counts

    >wrong on both counts
    No I am not.
The CONTEXT established by OP is a sandwich.
Obviously, that is what I was referring to, and not a Thanksgiving Plate of carved turkey.

And YES, I am correct as to the unappealing texture of thinly sliced roast turkey.

Uneven chunks are fabulous for a sandwich
    Try it, I dare you.

One doesn't eat, let alone prepare, this sort of sandwich without discarding health concerns.
