How do they do it? Somehow Taco Bell keeps innovating with only like 4 core ingredients
>>22264635>innovating>with only 4 core ingredientsYeah, it's just 'same shit, different shell' at this point. I don't eat there.
taco bell hasn't innovated since the doritos taco like 15 years ago
Does anyone ruthlessly count calories at Taco Bell? I often do intermittent fasting and Taco Bell is one of my go-to things to eat on those days because you can count calories there so precisely. It's all about mixing and matching. That Flamin' Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito, for example, is probably about 700 calories, since that's what the regular Grilled Cheese Burrito is. You'd want to pair that maybe with a Chalupa Supreme, which is 350 calories. That's about 1000 calories right there. Throw in one of the Avocado Ranch Chicken Stackers, and you're at about 1400 calories. That's a fine main meal of the day. Then later in the evening you can eat an open-faced peanut butter sandwich.
>>22264635You know what they say - ultra processed shit and profit margins are the mother of innovation or some shit
>dropsdropped
>>22264635My Taco Bell is dropping the ball with this shit I tried to get the Kevin hart meal over the weekend and the crew had no idea what I was even talking about
>>22264687This is a fatass board anon nobody here is counting calories
>>22264682I mean the taco salad is kinda cool.
>>22264635Wow so innovative you fucking actual tool
Looks like the Paris Hilton meal is over and now we have Doja Cat. The Mexican pizza is usually more expensive than the combo on its own so not a terrible deal. Pair it with Happy Hour and it's an ok combo.
>>22264635>innovating>all crap they've had before
>>22264855Taco Bell has always been 90% remixing of the same half dozen ingredients.
>>22264830taco bowls aren't innovative. Taco bowls were so popular in the 2000s and 2010s that they had cable TV commercials for taco bowl making devices and they sold premade ones at supermarkets. if anything the taco salad is their least innovative item.
>>22264930How exactly do you innovate tacos and burritos?
>>22264936By bringing back the 7 layer burrito and the original volcano lineup and the grilled stuft lineup and the baja chalupa and making everything cheap again.
>>22264941>innovate >bring back old stuff.
>>22264943It's innovating because no one else has dared to sell their good products for a fair price in the last 20 years.
>>22264936by stuffing them with wacky shit and flavorings. different shapes and layers. the gordita was an innovation. the doritos shell taco was an innovation. crunch wraps were an innovation.
>>22264948Was avocado verde sauce not an innovation? Were nacho fries not an innovation?
>>22264930I honestly could go for one of these right now.
>>22264635If you need to constantly invent new things to keep people interested then you're just a shit restaurant relying on gimmicks. Taco Bell solved the fast food game and won.
>>22264954nacho fries maybe? avocado sauce no not really. that was already a thing and taco bell just started offering it. they didn't invent or innovate it.
>>22264687I do this. My usual (#7+baja blast zero+spicy potato soft taco) is 920. I'm currently cutting at 1200 so it's hard to fit in unless I plan ahead.
>>22264687I get burritos with double protein for like 740 cals, I just customize the hell out of it
Just bring back lava sauce and don't charge $3.50 for a fucking taco with some of it on.
>>22264805Nah plenty of /fit/fags here too, cooking and eating properly. Here's a tip, most cooking threads are made by fit people, and most fast food threads are made by fat people and drug addicts.
>>22264848I didn't know Doja Cat was a real person until recently. I thought she was a fictional musician from that weird game called House Party.
>>22264957That's an insane amount of food for a single sitting man...
>>22264946Fair price? They still aren't.
>>22264848this was $1 yesterday on the app. I have never had a potato taco from them before but for $1 idgaf
How is the Crunchwrap so good?
I'm almost 40 old American and I've never had Taco Bell. I'm not insanely picky anymore in my old age and I would like to try a Taco Bell chicken product because I don't eat ground beef. I like chicken tacos and burritos from Mexican places and Chipotle. What chicken product should I try from Taco Bell?
>>22265669Get the Chicken Quesadilla, it's awesome. Also: the best way to get good-quality Taco Bell is to go to one in a part of the city where a lot of white people live. Even if the store itself is still staffed by minorities, if the area it serves is mostly white the quality of the ingredients and the presentation will be better overall. I've learned this after years of experience.
YO QUIERO TACO BELL
Heads up lads: I think I've stumbled onto one of Taco Bell's "experimental" locations where they test new stuff for potential nationwide rollout. It's also probably the best Taco Bell I've ever been to in terms of food quality. If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex you might want to check this one out.https://locations.tacobell.com/tx/dallas/4616-frankford-road.htmlI was there earlier today and there was fried chicken options on the Cantina Chicken Menu. Presumably it's the same Cantina Chicken, just fried, and you could get everything on the Cantina Chicken Menu with it. It's sure as hell not on the main menu, judging by the website.
Is it ever coming out? It’ll probably be $7 or some shit anyway
>>22265382and yet all the cooking threads are terrible and all the fast food threads are fun
