>>22264061Those are fucking disgusting. >>22264132>>22264137No one calls them that.
>>22264138>disgustingDon't say things you can't take back anon
>>22264138>No one calls sugar plums by their name, it's Jordan Almonds™Do mutts really?
>>22264146No country on Earth refers to candy coated almonds as sugar plums. You're a confused dipshit obviously
>>22264160Praliné or sugar plums.
>>22264163Nope, trolling
>>22264160He's kinda sorta half right. Sugar plums and candied almonds are both types of comfits. Since in Italy, the word confetti, which is cognate with comfits, refers exclusively to candied almond, I can imagine that somewhere in the world, the term sugar plum can refer both to candied almonds and traditional sugar plums. I wouldn't necessarily discount his claims outright. We just need to know where in the fuck he's from. Or perhaps when. In Victorian times, they absolutely were called sugar plums so if we're dealing with a time traveler or a nigh immortal gourmand, he may have a point.
>>22264061I really enjoy jordan almonds. Used to get them as a child so their distinct vanilla flavor is comforting. >>22264132>>22264163They're also known as wedding almonds you stupid whores.
>>22264180>or a nigh immortal gourmandIf a nigh immortal gourmand existed, he'd be shitposting here.
>>22264181It's a bit of a joke, this one candy has as many names are there are regions in the world.
>>22264180>confettiThis is confetti
>>22264181>distinct vanilla flavor is comfortingI love how their flavour varies country to country and how pretty much every culture has their own take on them. In mine, they're plain sugar. My mother made friends with a pair of Afghani twin sisters who used to run a salon. We'd have them over to dinner pretty often until one got married then the other. Anyway, the first time they came, through brought two bags of homemade candied almonds, one lemon and the other spiced. Both delicious. In India, anise flavour is pretty common and in parts of the middle east, licorice. It's fascinating to me that everyone has their take on the same thing. It's like flat bread. Pretty much every culture has one.
>>22264061>Nut (real)Holy smokes how'd they manage to get a real nut? Must be some fancy snack
