When was the last time you had a had good chocolate bar?
>>
Today, had some m&ms
>>

That's not a bar
>>
Pure chocolate? Not sure. Decades, I think. I like filled stuff. Chocolate with Hazelnuts. Praline. Toffee shards. That sorta thing.
>>
>>22262490
It can be if you try hard enough
>>
>>22262484
Bars don't usually have chocolate, they mostly specialize in liquor. But the lat time I got chocolate in one it was good, had some m&ms.
>>
>>22262499
It can pass as a bar if you try hard enough, but no matter how hard you try, it won’t be good.

For me, it's white chocolate.

Not since Cadbury's was still owned and made in the UK. Pre-9/11. I hear the chocolate industry is imploding right now, the crop yields are collapsing and literally every company is swapping out real chocolate with fake shit to keep up appearances.

The "crop collapsing" thing is just a narrative, the issue is that someone else is buying crops and driving prices up.
>>
>>22262767
Well whoever the hell is buying it all sure isn't making chocolate with it because the chocolate all tastes like shit.
>>
>>22262785
I think in part, companies in the West are just making the product cheaper to produce.

Some companies used to buy crops for dirty cheap and resell then in first world countries for massive profits, now the Chinese come and pay basically twice as much.

I had a manoa mango chocolate bar last week. It was pretty good but I think it would have been more interesting if there was dried mango bits throughout the bar instead of an emulsed mango powder. I tried the banana one too and it was similarly pretty good.

I used to like Ghiradelli squares, are they bad now too?

you think people will believe you're healthy and mature because you don't eat chocolate but they'll think you're just weird and annoying
