>>
>>22262232

>>

>>
>>22262246
yeah I agree fuck corn tortillas
>>
>>22262232
Looks pretty gud aye
>>
>>22262232
Other countries improved on Mexican food so authentic Mexican food is nothing to brag about. Mexican food is boring and repetitive with the same boring ingredients in almost every dish. Very limited pool of ingredients in general. They have like 60 dishes that are literally just different names for a burrito.
>>
>>22262232
So it has bugs in it?
>>
>>22262259
>authentic Mexican food is nothing to brag about.
nobody has mentioned authentic mexican food in this thread except for you, stupid pseud.
>>
>>22262261

>Very limited pool of ingredients in general.
What the hell planet do you live upon?
It's Megadiverse in
1. ingredients
2. flavors
3. textures
4. techniques
Oh, you've never actually been to Mexico, nor have you eaten authentic Mexican dishes.
>>
>>22263629
Which Mexico? New Mexico or New New Mexico?
>>
>>22263629
it isn't. and you know it isn't. and you know we know you're lying. the united states hand picked mexico's best dishes, made them better than they can, and the rest is 3rd world putridity that deserves no consideration
>>
>>22262259
>Mexican food is boring and repetitive with the same boring ingredients in almost every dish.
This sound like a cope, are you American?
>>
>>22262232
im mexican and this looks like it came out a pajeets asshole
>>
>>22264124
the only people who would defend mexican food are americans and mexicans because theyre the only people who eat it regularly and know how good it is. so i dont really understand your implication, here.
>>
>>22262232
Is that before going in or after coming out?
>>
>>22264602
A lot of flyover Americans are cultureless retards and think Mexican food is tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and if you're really exciting then fajitas.
>>
>>22264662

what's the sauce for the shrimp?
>>
>>22264811
idk the menu just said "crema"
>>
>>22264887
might've misread and it said 'crammed' instead
>>
>>22263629
I've been to Mexico and the variety was disappointing. It really was 60 variations of flatbread
Maybe there's some regional variation
>>
>>22262232
ooof, what a plate. Had some tacos from a place, and my fav was the grilled seafood one

What kinda curry is that? Obv there's shrimp but what else? Dunno if they use turmeric in mex cuisine, and I don't see no chillies
>>
>>22266701
Generally in mexican foods, depending on the region, they will either use achiote paste or guajillo chiles to impart red color to sauces. No turmeric is used as far as I know
>>
>>22266701
it's most likely crema de chipotle
>>
>>22266774
look right enough, yeah
>>
>>22262232
>finally find a nice mexican place that has really good chile con carne
>it's hiding between a bank and a best buy and never has any traffic
>will inevitably shut down in 6 months
It's so fucking hard to find a good place that can stay in business. I'm tired of getting my hopes up for anything I know it's just going to go away.
>>
>>22267138
I live in Britain and Mexican places are as rare as hens teeth.
I did find one once is a seaside town, I only had a chilli con carne (I wasn't too clued up on Mexican food then) it was pretty good.

No doubt it closed years ago, British seaside towns turn into ghost towns in winter.
Yes we have Taco-Bells and no doubt there are Mexicans in the cities but I avoid cities if I can help it.

I can't think of a worse place to get Mexican food than Europe. Mexicans basically don't emigrate to Europe, why would they when America's right next door? You guys are probably not getting anywhere close to the best cooks. Not to mention it's harder to get the chilis and other ingredients over there than it is here in North America.

Then again, you might get lucky. Somewhat relatedly, I had some of the best Chinese food I've ever had once in Florence.
>>
>>22267317
These were Mexicans (or South American at any rate) and the lack of Mexicans is probably why we don't really have Mexican places here. This place was only 70 miles from London and you can get almost anything on the planet there, so I don't think ingredients are a problem.
But you are right, generally getting hold of the different types of peppers isn't easy.

>>22262232
Looks like it has already been eaten once.
