Should I pull the trigger?
>>
>>22261335
go for it, champ, can't be much worse than you already eat as an american
>>
>>22261335
Get one that uses propane so you can use it outside or it'll stink up your house terribly
>>
>>22261340
How did you know I'm American?
>>
>>22261341
came here to say this. do not deep fry in your house unless you want it to smell like a oily shithole forever. I had one of these and used it a couple times but it's much more efficient to just fry in a pan. you have to filter the oil anyway.
>>
>>22261335
No, that model's cover isn't great and the handle detaches when you shake the basket.
And yes, I 100% made sure the handle is seated correctly, it's just poorly designed.
>>
>>22261335
no.
buy a real piece of equipment.

>>22261335
Just get some peanut oil and use a pan or wok you retard.
>>
You can instantly smell when a person deep frys shit on their counter with one of these things when you walk into their house. Its disgusting.
>>
just get an air fryer
>>
any home deep fryer i've used/seen has a lid
>>
>>22261335
No! Don't do it, anon!
You have so much to live for probably!
>>
>>22261351
If you're American 1750W will explode your house.
>>
>>22261771
our microwaves are 3kW, anon.
>>
>>22261335
I dunno, do you make a shitload of a lot of deep-fried foods all the time?
>>
>>22261771
>>22261813
Eurotards cannot understand how well our houses are wired. It's really no wonder they cannot into air conditioning, which can suck down 5kW easily, which would set their shitty cloth-wrapped home wiring on fire.
>>
>>22261335
Op , are you fucking retarded? No man.
unless you fry a shit ton of food.....where are you going to keep it? Are you ready to keep it clean? ready to replace a large amount of oil?

Anyway, I'm a single guy, live alone. I would suggest this. Presto 06006 kitchen kettle.
ditch the basket and just use tongs or your hand to get the food out.
It's simple and easy to clean. plus you dont have to change the oil out as much. trust.
>>
>>22261771
a lot of the time kitchens and laundry rooms are wired for 220v since they use powerful appliances while the rest of the house will be 110
>>
>>22261351
This same frier would cost 100 USD or less in countries that can freely trade with China.
>>
Just shallow fry stuff in a cast iron or something.
>>
>>22264017
These machines are not necessary, but they make dinners with family so much more fun.
>>
>>22263930
Ok, but the the final test. How much do you weigh?
>>
>>22261771
Newer American homes are wired with 20 amp circuits in the kitchen. At 120 volts, that's up to 2400 watts. Older American homes may have 15 amp circuits in the kitchen. At 120 volts, that's 1800 watts. Both would be fine with this 1750W unit.

I had this one. $120 on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NQ7QFGM

It has a bottom container where the oil is filtered down through a stainless steel mesh. That part was great. Problem is it takes too much time to get hot. That's fine initially, but when you put food in the oil takes too long to return to temperature, so it makes the food more soggy instead of crispy like it should. So the OP item with similar wattage and no filter will do the same. Don't waste your money.

>>22261335
just fry in a dutch oven you mongoloid
half filled pot, get a spider to remove stuff from the oil, use a thermometer and adjust the heat gradually, get the temp 10-15 degrees over your target heat to adjust for the temperature drop when food goes in
