They all taste complex and different in interesting ways and if you can't tell it's because you fried your taste buds on triple IPAs and imperial stouts——you're desensitized.
>>22261241Not a fan of beer, but I'm pretty sure most of these are the same 3 beers Ambev makes under different labels.
>>22261241Absolutely all of those are interchangeable besides Guinness.
>>22261257>>22261248You don't have the humility to acclimate yourself to lagers and learn to discern the differences between them. I was like you for many, many years. I decided to try going golden-lager-only for a period of a few months and it has opened my eyes. There is much which you simply cannot taste until you develop your palette.
>>22261241all the light beers taste very similargreen bottled beers are definitely their own thing though
>>22261241for me, it's peroni, asahi, tuborg strong, stella atroisif push comes to show, then heineken, carlsbergonly place i've ever enjoyed a budweiser was in korea, where the domestic beer is even worst
>>22261241Grim
>>22261241You ever think Guiness feels left out because he's bot part of the Lager club?
>>22261248noone is a fan of beer
>>22261241Haven't tried Tsingtao, Snow, Kirin Ichiban, Skol, Brahma, San Miguel, Tiger, Victoria, or Kingfisher. Any good?
>>22261241>>22261271>"develop your palette">by drinking mass market lagers that are designed to be as inoffensive as possiblejust stop OP, you're embarrassing yourself. i know you're desperately trying to go against current thing but you're just making yourself look like the ignorant nigger that you are.
>>22261241Which is the tranny one that killed its own sales?
>>22261248heineken and corona are the same beer.
>>22262233beer is estrogenic so... all of them
>>22261271Palate*. As in, the roof of the mouth, associated with taste. NOT the thin board used by painters. The latter is sometimes used metaphorically in a culinary context, but only in the sense of, "the chef produced a diverse palette of such-and-such," ie, these are the colors the artist is painting with, if the whole experience is the painting. But in the sense of developing a sense of taste, we use "palate".

>>22262227"It's bad because it's popular" is an insufficient rule of thumb which will lead you astray here. Popular music is bad because it's oversaturated with cloying thick emotion and harmony, an assault on the senses, enough to overcome the bovine insensitivity of the masses but so much that it would trigger nausea in a sensitive listener, for which reason they can listen to it only with a barrier of irony (they do this reflexively and may not even notice that they are doing it). The music which can touch the heart of the sensitive listener, catlike and evasive, is careful and gentle where it is affective, economical with harmony, etc., existing for itself, waiting for the listener to approach. He who has ears to hear, let him hear; etc. It is obvious that the analogue here is the palatal assault of rich, saccharine, oppressive craft beer flavour-maximalism. I am sure there are craft beers which are restrained and quiet and complicated, I've had some of them. But most of the time when people have lost the ability to taste lagers, it is not the lager's fault. You can say Budweiser doesn't have enough going on. That's true. But if you say it has nothing going on, you're missing something. And most beer snobs don't realize how much they've lost their sense of taste through overstimulation.>>22262245Yes thank you.
>>22262241call your mom.
>>22261241Most of those are fairly similar tasting and very mediocre. I enjoy them still but I wouldn't praise them for being anything other than refreshing on a hot day
>>22262287Craft beer snobs talk about pilsners like they're water, yet can't see the point of the OP saying that they're desensitized. Lol.
>>22262276didn't read. stop browsing r/beer for multiple hours/day and seething over people enjoying beer you don't like because we both know that's what made you make this gay limp dick of a thread
>>22262683No, I made this thread because I've been exploring the piss-coloured lagers of the world as a break from being a beer snob myself (would have said Erdinger is a favourite, as well as some stouts), and I was pleasantly surprised by the way they opened up and became more flavourful and interesting the longer I immersed myself in them. Beers I remembered as dull and devoid of character became distinctive when I revisited them with this new perspective. Also I've never been on r/beer.But you didn't read this either, because you're illiterate.
>>22262750didn't read this either
>>22262427No they don't. Most breweries make pilsners. They talk about shitty pilsners like they're water because miller lite is like water. There are like 4 pilsners in the picture and the only okay one is modelo. A good pilsner is fairly hoppy desu senpai
Was the AI generated picture really necessary?
>>22261241>25 "most popular" beers i the world>I've only heard of 11 of themRest are made up AI slop probably
>>22262846This is to show how limited your perspective are where you live.
>>22261241what is this shit?
>>22262842do you have another image with all those beers in frame all at once?
>>22261241They do taste different, but they also suck in different waysFor me, it's Spaten
>>22262848He's an esl brown. Pay him no mind.
>>22261241imagine drinking (((international))) (((corpo))) beer lol couldnt be me+miss me with that gay shit
>>22261241Tastes like various flavors of vomit.
>>22261241>>22263152someone else can make it pretty
>>22262236You don't put lemon/lime in heineken tho...
>>22261241My honest go to favorite beers are Yuengling, Yuengling flight and their black and tan.
>>22261241Didn't you forget about these?
>>22263307
>>22263307>youI picked a random image off of Google. I was drinking Pilsner Urquell the night I made the thread, I promise you I have not forgotten about it.
>pilsner urkel
>>22261271Iva had many lagers, and just about every single one of them, ESPECIALLY the cheap shitty ones like in the op, all taste around the same level of shit. Ales are one step up from lagers. A blonde ale is really what the standard beer should be. Lagers can go get fucked.
>>22263307I had a Czech friend for a bit that would get the pilsner on the right and was all excited because they were the original lager from the home country. It tasted EXACTLY the same as every other pilsner ive ever had. Shit
i almost never drink but am tempted every summer by a mexican lager on a hot day
>>22263558I'm from Czechia. ALL beer tastes exactly the same (like liquid mold) and is full of empty calories and estrogen.
>>22263558>It tasted EXACTLY the same as every other pilsner ive ever had. Then you don't drink enough pilsners and golden lagers etc to be able to tell them apart. It has a very different flavour, you just can't taste it. I don't know why everyone is choosing to ignore what I'm trying to tell them here.
>>22263307It's an AIslop thread, it doesn't know shit about beers
>>22262236They taste nothing alike, you fucking imbecile.
>>22263611Craft beer tards literally can't tell the difference, and they think this proves how *sophisticated* their taste in beer is
>>22263697The issue is that all Americans really had for decades was lager. When craft beer took off a lot of them shunned lagers in general due to fatigue. It turned into some sort of elitism even though every brewer I've met keeps high life or busch light in their fridge. If someone says they can't taste the difference between busch light and miller light I think they're genuinely dumb.
>>22262926ESL is not a problem, EN-US is.
>>22264189>If someone says they can't taste the difference between busch light and miller light I think they're genuinely dumb.Very true. I live in Tokyo and know a lot of annoying craft beer tards that will straight-faced say that all Japanese macros taste exactly the same. Absolutely not true. If your taste buds aren't blown out, there are definite differences between them all.
>>22264782it's an apezilian brand funnily enough
>>22262233Bud Light. But i think sales have partially recovered because they pivoted away from that marketing ploy. >>22263155Very informative, anon
>>22264189>even though every brewer I've met keeps high life or busch light in their fridge.Yeah thats for the plebs who need their macro babby beers. Like keeping chicken tenders on the kids menu. >>22264779There absolutely are differences, but most macro beers arent all that interesting tasting. Sapporo and Asahi are both ok and taste different, but theyre just not very remarkable or good beers. Similarly, Miller Lite tastes way different from Bud Light, but i dont like either of those beers because light beers are for wimps and fatasses. My go to if im in a non craft bar is Yuengling or Miller High Life. If they dont have those, i just wont drink and will have water. No sense in bitching about stuff i cant change.
>>22264782You want to use Kingfisher for your ‘hilarious’ racist posts.
>>22264853Oh I'll tell the guy whos brewed multiple gold medal beers a fella on 4chan called him a pleb
>>22265054Please tell your friend that I called him a stupid doo-doo head and then chugged a bottle of Heiniken while driving my 1994 Ranger
>>22261241no Despie?
>>22265098A 94 ranger? That's pretty sick desu senpai. Is it in good shape?
>>22265157It's a piece of shit that is still around because it refuses to die
Imperial stouts are DISGUSTING and I'm not a big fan of ipas yet I think most of these are boring
>>22265161lol ok li'l bud drinker. go back to bed, the adults are shitposting.
>>22265171I had a couple paulaner oktoberfests last night, very disappointing this year. Somehow the german beer mogs disgusting imperial stouts even when it's shitty.
>>22265159A couple of my coworkers have multiple rangers and they just steal parts from them to fix anything in the main one they drive. Reliable little truck
>>22265189Probably why they discontinued it and made the shit new too much computerized nonsense version so you cant fix it yourself anymore
>>22261241No natural light? Yeah okay.
>>22265278Have you ever been inside a real bar? Their prime hours are after sundown, so they rely heavily on artificial lighting and don't usually have big windows.
>>22261271Have you been to Das Haus der 100 Biere in Berlin? (that translates to House of 100 beers for you dumb animals) No?Then shut the fuck upFor me it’s a Bière de Champagne
>>22265316Ooh I'm sure 80/100 beers there are old and gross
>>22265316>Bière de ChampagneI prefer le champagne des bières
>>22265316That's Miller high life
>>22263307Of course, discussing actually good lagers would defeat the purpose of the thread, begging for attention by being maximally contrarianDiscussing beer is not the point
>>22261241Snobs are some of the most retarded down syndrome low IQ retards in the world>me smart boy, me can taste difference *takes a sip of a beer* wow dis one taste different!!Imagine bragging about how you can taste the difference between Budweiser and Guinness. You are a really special boy
>>22265668It's straightforwardly superior to not being able to tell the difference
