This world is not all tacos and burgers anon.

That's not a christmas design or motive.
It's a traditional Black Forest region design (Bollenhut and Hirsch).

I like nalgenes because they are durable, and for some reason my thrift stores near me get them quite often and sell them for 2 in a bag for 3.99. I run a sanitization cycle on them in the dishwasher and they're fine.

    >>22256588
Restaurant supply stores have these by the dozen. I love them becuase they don't break.

    >>22257657
Nice retro mug. I live in a sort of techy part of Denver so the thrift stores on occasion get vintage dead tech mugs. I've got a hotjo Raktajino style mug with the old Microsoft Logo. My white whale though is a Wordperfect Mug, they have them on eBay but I can't bring myself to drop that much on a mug.

I've always thought these were cool, I should get one at some point.

Actually, I'm taking machining classes and we've got a 5-axis machine I'll be learning to use next term and I've got friends in the welding department who can braze stuff. Maybe I should make one.

Probably true, but I'm a pretty good CAD guy and getting decent at CAM, and we have assignments where we have to design and manufacture our own stuff anyway, with materials supplied by the school (last year's final manual class had us do a whole BOM with a McMaster shopping list and everything, I got like $80 worth of stuff lol) so it might be a fun project.

Be a man, get a jewelers saw, some needle files and sandpaper, then learn to silver solder. If you get that done, then worry about learning to engrave/stamp and make it pretty.
    >>
    >>22264788
The McMaster order was just bearings and hardware for a relatively small project. Stock was priced separately based on a local supplier's prices but I ended up actually making the whole thing out of stuff we already had on hand, largely thanks to a local shop that gave us an entire pallet of aluminum blanks that their saw guy fucked up the sizing on or something.

    >>22264956
