Why post pictures if you're gonna pose and edit in a way where we can see literally nothing? You look like an unshapely pastel blob.

Gives me strong performative vibes. Like she uses a mac and goes to starbucks idk
    >>
Thank god the quality is so low so we dont have to see too much of that hideous coord
    >>
Posted on r/Lolita , of course.

"Murmures de Ruban" creates some of the ugliest things Ive ever seen
    >>
    >>10975911
The fit is such dogshit, especially for something that's supposed to be "size inclusive" because that bodice is not going to work at all on anyone with any form of belly.
You want to do stuff that can be sized up for plus-size bodies ? Empire waist. Boom, easy.
It also looks super cheap and something tells me it isn't.
    >>10975910
Eeeeh, out of place bag and horrible wig aside, it's one cardigan away from being babby's first mori fit. It's dumb to call it lolita but it looks okay enough if you take that out of consideration.
    >>
    >>10975911
    >>10975923
It looks like it's made with the cheapest possible materials out there... she originally said that it would all be produced in the UK with all natural fibers, then outsourced production to a Chinese factory that doesn't specialize in Lolita... like they promised so many buzzwords (plus size friendly, natural fibers, ethically made, cruelty free, etc etc etc) and went back on literally every promise they made. Trying to court that very specific woke as shit audience backfired on them because they got eaten alive when they went back on everything
    >>
    >>10975685
man this is so much more pleasant to post on than lolcow f a r m

you cant make a post there without someone coming after you
    >>
    >>10975940
    nu-4ch was a mistake
    >>
    >>10975927
Delivering on all those promises would make the end product astronomically expensive, like at least double Japanese burando prices. People who want to start their own indie brand usually have no background in fashion and know absolutely nothing about the business.
It's one thing to be a seamstress just selling things you sewed yourself, but actually getting into manufacturing is a huge endeavor, especially for something as complex as lolita clothing. And I doubt the creators of this >>10975911 were actually patterning and creating their own specs and samples, so the fit is atrocious. They probably just sent their factory front and back sketches and let them (badly) figure it out.

What in the FUCK is going on with that waistline holy SHIT you're wearing the wait part on your lower ribcage

    >>10976317
We excusing shitty hair now? Call me an unc or whatever, but the hair should always be part of the coord. This peaked in the early 2000s-2010s where wigs were near mandatory, especially when dressing sweet.

If you've got it dyed literally the colour of puke yellow, or your natural colour clashes with the rest of the outfit, I'm begging please wear a wig, cover that shit, or wait until your hair is an appropriate colour because "sensory issues" prevents you from wearing wigs or whatever. (Which is a retarded argument because if you can sit through the hour long process of getting your hair dyed, a wig won't fucking kill you)
    >>
    >>10976330
good wig > good natural hair > shit > poop > crap > wearing a bald cap as a meme because at least it will be funny for five seconds > bad wig > bad natural hair
Though I say this because I plan my outfits based on my natural hair precisely to avoid clashes (and because it's reaching the lower hip now so you know I'm going to flax it instead of trying to wrangle it into a wig cap) so take that with a grain of salt. Dark hair on sweet coords is very difficult to get to work. As per your own pic
    >ooooh but it makes the shoes match here it's black on black
    n o
As a fellow boat-for-feet haver, I get it. Most of your shoes options are going to stop four sizes too small for you, especially for stuff that would work in sweet. But you keep looking instead of throwing in some black shoes because that's all you can find.

I don't think they're shoes. I think they have sandal-y heels with a gingham pattern and red straps, and then the mass of red with the fluffy shit is socks.

    It's... a choice

this person ruins my day regularly. starved for ouji i look in r/ouji and they keep posting their ill fitting coords. I can't scroll through the sub without getting flashbanged by this shit. They recently posted something inviting crit and got none because for whatever reason r/ouji doesn't do crit ever. Maybe the community is too small and no one wants to be mean idk. I haven't said shit because I'm not going to crit someone before self-posting and inviting crit myself.

Part of me wants to believe it's just to check the ft of some new clothes, that it's a work in progress and the guy's face, makeup and wig will come next. After all, there are some really good brolitas who would look awful if taken partway through the process of getting ready.
But c'mon if that's the case you just hide your face or something.
But hey, it's jirai : mental illness is part of the look :^)
    >>

bwos...i hate this so much. it pisses me off. I was at a cold wave show last weekend and it was my first time going to a goth or goth adjacent event. I learned how to do makeup for it and although it was kind of shitty first go I still did it. I still tried. I picked out an artisto coord for a vampire feel. I did my hair all nice. I put in all the effort because I felt like I should when I walk into an alt fashion space. I was very much appreciated for doing it.

seeing this shit pisses me off because the actual skill expression in alt fashion is in the makeup, wig/hair styling then of course picking out your coord. I admire makeup heavy because it's skill you can't just put in a shopping cart. I don't even fuck with jirai kei that much because I find pien offputting but I admire it.

so yeah i hate this. i hate him. i hate motherfuckers that think clicking checkout is all it takes to walk into these spaces. it isn't just the coord. it's the makeup, the wig, the nails, the fit. all the liars gassing them up are saying shit like they just hate you because you're bald and gross or whatever. no i hate them because they aren't trying. they can be as much of a disgusting baldy as they want if they actually put forth effort
    >>
    >>10976876
Well going by the look of that room, he is not walking into any other space. He is probably not even walking into the nearby space with a dumpster to clear some room in the one space he is in.

    >i hate motherfuckers that think clicking checkout is all it takes to walk into these spaces
I almost don't blame noobs like that to an extent when they begin. Everything else in life is now packaged as ready out of the box. Just buy the thing and that's all. Everything is retard-proof and designed so it can be used with the lowest possible amount of involvment and effort.
So when you are at the very beginning into most fashion but EGL in particular, you'll probably expect the same.
What's going to set you on the path towards a perma-ita or a lolita (or some other alt-style really) is accepting that you need to do stuff yourself. That things are not ready out of the box. That you can't just throw your wig on, you'll have to style it, then maintain it. That unless you only wear one-piece dresses, you'll need to do a lot of matching and looking for different pieces. That some of your dresses will have weird adjustment points. That if you want your petticoat to stay in place, you might need to pin it to the lining of your skirt.
It's probably worse in jirai where things can be more easily worn out of the box but lolita usually gives you a good idea of how much further you have to go on day one when you have a frumpy dress on and are nowhere near the inspiring photos you saw. That's where itas and lolitas part way.
Then you have outlier cases like >>10976254 who put effort into looking like shit. That level of itadom is not natural. It is a learned behavior.
    >>
    >>10976987
In a lot of queer spaces, looking like absolute shit is encouraged by everyone, because how they dress is Asserting Muh Identity, and someone's Identity is never allowed to be invalidated by anyone else Asserting Muh Identity, otherwise they immediately start infighting and making callout posts about the other person being an -ist or doing an -ism. The result is, everyone just identifies as looking like absolute shit
