There is something about this time of year that brings me close to her. I know in part it must be the weather I like, but I know too it must be the memories I have. Memories that I want to share with her, experience with her. I want to experience a lovely autumn like I remember throughout my life. I can just imagine being childhood friends with my Kana, holding her hand on a hayride, or watching her play volleyball in high school, or hanging out on the college campus in the crisp autumn air ending in a nice workout together (or me tutoring my wife, since I bet she'd need it). And then I saw it the other day, just driving through the countryside in beautiful autumn scenery, just homes scattered amidst the forests and hills and cool air and setting sun I could imagine me and her living in and raising our family together.
