A lot of FUD on here recently and it's brainless low tier retard FUD. I am here to answer any legitimate questions or concerns you have about crypto in general. Specifically I am hoping to dispel some uncertainty and the widespread belief that this Binance hack was something that proves crypto is broken.Come on in here and post, hopefully a question. Why do you hate crypto? Do you have fear for the near future? AI got you down? Come on in friend, pull up a chair.Ask away.
>>62841646What is the reasonable long-term equilibrium price for BTC over the next 5 years?
>>62841646defi is a scam because all price feeds pull from cexes and all cexes collude to fix prices
>>62841653>long-term equilibrium price for BTC over the next 5 years>long-term>5 yearsPick one faggot. If you're talking about the time when the amount of money it takes to mine 1 BTC equals the market price, I have no idea. Last I checked it takes anywhere from $60-100K to mine 1 whole BTC. I will not predict the value of BTC for the next bullrun since that is impossible and nobody knows.
>>62841677At first I was like>"I am here to answer any legitimate questions or concerns you have about crypto in general"But then I>"Pick one faggot, I have no idea"
>>62841646You can't prove a negative (that cryptography can't be broken) so my question would be who cares if you can argue your way to a reasonable level of certainty that it's not likely to happen when every cybersec incident from here until the end of time is just going to resurface the fear in peoples' hearts that something is about to gank their coins to zero while they're asleep, and decide the poorly defined but seemingly ever increasing risk isn't worth the heartburn and just sell and fuck off to buy assets that can't go to zero overnight. You're a smartypants who knows this is unlikely, you think that gives you an edge. But so long as you can't actually prove it can't happen, the fear remains in everyone's hearts, and you end up being the fool confidently holding something nobody else is anymore confident in holding -> you end up the greatest fool even if you were right.
>>62841672>all cexes collude to fix pricesAre the voices in your head telling you this? Where are you getting this anyway? The truth is that it does not benefit a CEX to collude because they don't need to. Why do you think it's profitable? This is an idea that makes sense when you talk about a handful of companies that can control the supply and fix prices like RAM, but it doesn't make sense for an exchange. They make money when you buy and when you sell. They make money during bear markets and bull markets. It is in their best interests to let the market decide the value because they really don't care. I guess you could have exchange owners holding large amounts of crypto, so in that case they would be biased. I remember one trader got liquidated super hard when Huobi or some asian CEX had the price of BTC go really out of sync with the other exchanges and he tried to sue them but lost because it was all fair. I don't know if it was software error or if somebody bought a bunch of BTC on this specific exchange. As for your point about defi being a scam because of the origin of the price data, that shit is nonsense. If I wanted to, I can simply average the price of ETH across various DEXs and ignore all CEXs. The liquidity pools are transparent and it's all verifiable on chain. There is market manipulation in both DEXs and CEXs, but that is present is all markets known to man. IF defi is a scam because of manipulation, then everything on the planet is a scam, and then nothing is a scam.
>>62841646There is an ai nigger in my sandwich!
>>62841684You want an answer to a question that literally nobody can predict. I tell you I don't know and you should be happy that I'm being honest with you and not lying like all the others and picking a number pulled out of my ass.Can God create a boulder that is so massive and heavy that He Himself could not lift it? If you say yes, then God is not omnipotent since he cannot lift the boulder. If you say no, then God is not omnipotent because he cannot create the boulder. You question is flawed from the beginning.
>>62841697>You want an answer to a question that literally nobody can predictThen you must understand why many people react with uncertainty. > I tell you I don't know and you should be happy that I'm being honest with youYou called me a faggot for no good reason, of course I am not happy. That's not being honest, that's being a nigger.
>>62841686>You can't prove a negativeOk this this is actually wrong objectively. You most certainly can prove something cannot exist/happen, but I will admit that the only realm I know where this is true is mathematics. So ideas only. But I can prove that all Perfect Numbers are even or I can prove that there exist no odd Perfect Numbers (maybe probably idk ask AI). So my first point is to stop using this low IQ saying please because it is wrong. When it comes to the physical world, then it is pretty much impossible to prove a negative, but only because it is impossible to prove anything 100%. We have never seen a photon move faster than the speed of light, but the theory doesn't prevent particles from moving faster if they were moving faster than C from the beginning (Tachyons). The reason that AI has everyone spooked is because it can find bugs in software that brilliant people would only find after decades of searching. But AI cannot break math. Nobody can. Let me ask you, what do you say to the idea that I can use the AI to find all the bugs inside my crypto wallet software? And then instead of exploiting them, I patch them up? I use the latest and greatest models out there. And every time a new model comes out, I have the time and money to run my code through them. What now? Fire with fire they say. What do you have to say now?
>>62841698No the "pick on faggot" is a meme from the good old days on 4chan when people didn't get butthurt from being called a faggot or a newfag or an oldfag it's just a synonym for friend.Faggot.
>>62841687>what is otc>what are liquidity operations >what are perpsall cexes together form a mesh of intertwined liquidity. and in that regard they are all subordinate to binance, who do indeed manipulate prices to liquidate their users. you are completely clueless if your conclusion is that they "don't care" and are only concerned with exchange. this completely ignores the billions they have personally invested to extend tentacles into every aspect of the crypto industry so that it remains completely reliant on cex infrastructure to function.>If I wanted toIt doesn't matter what YOU do. No fucking price feed is using TWAP to set prices you clueless moron. Oracles average prices they pull directly from CEXes, and as we've already known for years, they all collude. October 10 2025 was the day the illusion completely died, when Binance crashed bitcoin and the prices of all alts were essentially zeroed in less than 10 minutes. All of DeFi reported these prices as accurate and triggered mass liquidations as a result. And there was not a peep from any oracle service, or any crypto "foundation", all of whom once purported that the purpose of decentralized finance was to eliminate this very risk. Now they say nothing while cexes fully control the foundation of these systems. Crypto unequivocally has failed in establishing an actually decentralized financial system
>>62841724>prices of all alts were essentially zeroed in less than 10 minutesA bit of an exaggeration innit?>the purpose of decentralized finance was to eliminate this very riskThey literally do and they are slowly gaining ground against CEXs and you know it.>cexes fully control the foundation of these systemsThey absolutely do not and I wish you would stop spreading this misinformation. They are imbedded definitely, but they are not indestructible.>Crypto unequivocally has failed in establishing an actually decentralized financial systemFalse. This is how I know you are a salty no coiner or just plainly someone with intent to spread FUD. Tell North Korea that while they launder billions of dollars worth of DECENTRALIZED assets. Nobody can stop them and nobody can freeze them and if that's not a decentralized system then I don't know what you call it.
>>62841646>it's brainless low tier retard FUDThat's because it's IndianDisregard Indian ideasIgnore Indian postersHide Indian threads
>>62841687>They make money when you buy and when you sell. They make money during bear markets and bull markets. It is in their best interests to let the market decide the value because they really don't care. Wait a minute, wouldn't the same logic make central banking akshually le good?
>>62841732>A bit of an exaggeration innit?no, and if you paid any attention at all you would know what happened >Tell North Korea that while they launder billions of dollars worth of DECENTRALIZED assets. you are genuinely retarded and don't understand that north korea and iran are fully reliant on an off-chain grey market to function, of which binance is a part, they are not selling into a fucking dex to pay for drones and missiles. these third world tinpot dictatorships are not using "decentralized finance" in any regard other than looting what they can. anyway you're mentally deficient, not my problem, but your thread is shit and does nothing to make crypto look better. cexes are currently inextricable from the system and there are NO movements from within that are capable of dislodging them, the only hope at this point is massive reform imposed by an external body, which is years away from happening, if ever
>>62841742What the FUCK are you talking about? Are you assuming everyone agrees that central banks are bad? Or good? Baby Jesus, give me strength...
>>62841745>north korea and iran are fully reliant on an off-chain grey market to functionExactly. They are sanctioned and cut off from the rest of the world so guess what they use? An actually decentralized financial system you say? Oh yeah, right. Thank you for proving my point retard.>they are not selling into a fucking dex to pay for drones and missiles. these third world tinpot dictatorships are not using "decentralized finance" in any regardOh yeah they just use DEXs to swap to and from assets in a manner that makes it impossible to trace right? Never mind fantastic assets like Monero, the North Koreans are using shit like Tornado Cash and Railgun and I think ThorChain too. You just proved my point that they in fact do use DEXs and that DEXs are objectively a decentralized financial system that is free from control censorship.>currently inextricable from the system and there are NO movements from within that are capable of dislodging themFalse. Keep ignoring my point about DEXs slowly but surely gaining ground. Hyperliquid anyone? Again, thank you for proving my point.I accept all your concessions. I am leaving now because I have to go fuck your mother. Bye bye bitch.
