I thought crypto currency was inherently secure because of encryption or something. Can someone explain to me how crypto can be stolen like I'm a retard?

You don't keep the combination to the safe a secret, someone will open your vault over the internet

    >inherently secure
Well that was your mistake in thinking.
How the hack took place is inconsequential if u don't get that part.
So who else is watching the league matches today

I put a camera above your computer and record you typing your password.
    Now I know your password.
    Funds not safu.
Why is that hard to imagine?

Imagine you have a door handcrafted by God himself. Absolutely no one could ever get through that door. But the wall around the door is just normal concrete. I can blast through it with TNT. The door didn't fail but I still got in.

What the fuck are you even saying you dumbass bitch. Low IQ fag detected. Go watch your sportsball.

    Horrible analogy.

OP the truth is that this guy >>62839861 is the closest to the truth. Imagine that you have the best security system in the world installed in your house. Nobody can open the front door of your house, even the people that created this system can't open that door. The only person is the one that holds they keys, presumably you. One day you're walking down the street and you drop your keys on the floor. I was walking behind you, so I silently picked up your keys without you realizing it. Then I went over to your house and opened your front door. Then I raped your dog.

Did I "hack" the security system? No. You just weren't careful with your keys. Every low IQ retard out there is screaming "see? cryptos not secure! ha told you!" but those are all retards that are retarded.

The people in charge of the keys were not careful and somebody stole them. The security offered by cryptocurrencies still stands. It is obvious that crypto works since North Korea is still able to store and move the BTC and ETH that they stole. The fact that some of their stolen coins were frozen is something that indeed deserves your attention. Remember the ones that were frozen and remember the ones that were not. I have been reading a lot recently about this Arbitrum's Security Council.

The threat AI poses to crypto is a real thing, but you can always fight fire with fire. If you can use AI to find bugs that a human being can't, it all boils down to what a human does with it. You might use it to steal and destroy, and maybe someone else would use it to patch and repair. You think the Zcash counterfeit coin bug was found by a human? Don't forget you can use AI to repair and strengthen as well.

Do not ignore crypto. Ignore all the FUD. We will look back in a few years and laugh.
