>there are currently people on this board that unironically, genuinely, think there's an """AI bubble"""
Luddites. One of the main threats of the world right now.
The fiat bubble will pop first
>>62834580You are coping
>>62834588They should be put in camps
Let’s see if the democrats will keep donating billions to it
>>62834580>1999>there are people on this forum that unironically, genuinely, think there's a "dotcom bubble"
>>62834636>apples to factories
>>62834580There are unironic brainlets on this board that don't know the tech is from back in the 80s and yet the breakthrough is coming "soon"
>>62834641How do you propose making AI profitable? After a certain point it becomes cheaper to just have poor humans do the work for pennies. Once the subsidization ends the sector will implode, it's already happening. One or two major players will remain at an exorbitant price for niche use cases at best
>DOOOD LUDDITES ARE LIKE, NOT HUMAN. YOU BETTER USE THE AI OR YOURE NOT HUMAN DOOOOOD
>>62834598KYS tech dork
>>62834588You will be hunted down and turned into lasagna by drone locust swarms for being an economically and intellectually worthless, needy sack of meat who's just taking up land and space for the superior classes of humans. If AI goes how you think, you won't be in control of anything. Jews, billionaires, and governments will be omnipotent, and they will exercise their power over you.
>>62834596>>62834636>>62834652Look, here they are, the low iq niggers reveal themselves.
I don't program. LLM's are certainly more helpful than a search engine. Helps me with my longevity research anyway. But I'll never pay for it. Just not going to.
>>62834580there is. performance of the models has plateaued and the absurd investments that require the scaling to go exponential will never pay off. there's a reason the text, images, and video generation are all still painfully obvious despite years of "improvement". Now that gains on models have run out they are working on tooling as the next step. first the models calling programming tools which lead to the doomerism in the industry, and now they are working on non-programming software tools like blender, CAD, etc. but at the end of the day its the same model that has had development slow to a crawl run in a loop and doing work more "intelligently" by offloading it to tools. This too will hit a dead end when they expand to all the different categories of tooling and from there it will be stagnationthis is how it always works btw. breakthrough -> easy gains through brute force -> small gains through brute force -> easy gains through applying the thing in a smarter way -> smaller gains through applying the thing in a smarter way. eventually you also get offshoots that are better at a very specific thing
>>62834675If you're not using AI every day at your work then I just assume you're some sub blue collar wagie that works at a grocery store. It's actually good to be an employim like that right now since it's a waste to use the intelligence of AI on unclogging a shitter.
It is a bubble due to how overpraised the tech is. It has lots of uses, promise and a future, we all know that. But the tech industry hyped it to sci fi levels of retardation. And the investors ate it up like complete morons. That's why it doesn't even matter how useful AI actually is. If it doesn't start turning water into wine, and reviving the dead, investors WILL pull out.In fact, I feel as if even investors know this is all a farce... and are honestly holding up to see who's the first sucker to give up. Or for if the government will step up, or what.In any case, just like happened with dot.com, some of the bigger players will survive and properly establish themselves after the burst. So that's another thing to keep in mind.
>>62834775AKA a dip
tech being useful does not disprove an equity bubblesimple as that
>>62834793This. A bubble is a bubble because people went full retard leveraging in to something. Not even AI, amazing as it might be, can deal with the financial issues that causes. You might even call it just a cool down to sanity, NVIDIA has a PE ratio of 30, that's unsustainable no matter how many golden gooses they can manufacture, but a cool down from THERE is a massive event nonetheless
>>62834714Just support local AI retard. Search “furry” on hugging face and realize just how nothingburger the hack was.
>>62834793>The companies with record earnings halved their stock value, being undervalued by any metric>It's AI bubble. You are clueless, and just repeat the things you heard from other retards in the social media. If anything this is AI scare, and once people stop being retarded everything will go to the moon.
>>62834769>despite years of "improvement"bruh, ChatGPT 3.5 (text only) was released only 3 years ago
The very concept of financial bubbles is outdated. It isn't as impactful as it used to be.
>>62834580Well it has plateaued more than a year ago, this is why they had to pivot to optimizing what they had with agentic logic so the AI would have at least some actual working code before it starts spewing out it's randomized bullshit. It's great at simple tasks, always has been, but it's just not capable of operating at the skill level of a senior developer because it truly doesn't care if the code works or fits, it just makes an absolute midwit educated guess and does the very bare minimum to follow the prompt. So what's next? Why should I invest in something that already works? For free? This is like buying chainlink all over again, you think everyone will use it but in reality it just works and the token exists just to help the dev get even fatter.
>>62834580>>62834588>>62834598Species traitors should get the rope
>>62834880And what we have now, that justifies trillions of dollars of investment, and the complete derailment of the American economy? This is worth putting millions out of work, destroying the energy market, destroying consumer electronics market?
retards like OP (an incredible, insane faggot) think that "bubble" means "completely stops existing altogether".the dotcom bubble didn't end the internet. it's just a reflection of things being horribly, horribly overpriced for the moment.
>>62834775Now zoom out you faggot retard.
>>62835043There was also a railroad bubble, even though trains are incredibly useful even today. There was also a power infrastructure bubble in the early 1900s even though we all still use electricity. AI is useful and never going away but it's overpriced.
>>62835003The indians itt will all say yes, because they see the rest of the world exactly like themselves: unsalvageable
i'll buy the google and amazon dips and you bubbleniggers can buy crocs.
Bubble isn't inherently bad nor does it mean it will pop. It just means an over focus on a sector of the market, whether that is good or not will depend. There is no doubt an AI bubble, but I don't think it will pop nor do I think it's necessarily bad.
>>62834778And I assume if you only use AI at work you probably let your boss peg you like a fag
>NEW PARADIGM
>>62834605Let's see if the ((((tech bros)))) allow the democrats to win.
>>62834714/thread
>>62834580>>62834588>>62834598How much are you paid to make these threads? I mean, you ARE being paid, right? AI corporations have 100s of billions of dollars, there's no way you would do this for free... right?
>>62834714Okay, but what about the future?
>>62834580>no profit is being made>no plans to generate profit at all>immense debt>training better models require exponentially more data>no data left to learn from, the entire internet has been scraped by bots>more companies that adopted AI have admitted to have not made any productivity gains>tech bros keep lying and lying>mathematically GUARENTEED to never ever be sustainablePretty sure it's a bubble
How can tech ever be a bubble?
>>62834778But I thought the whole point was to replace those jobs?
>>62834889Yes. There are no such thing as bubbles anymore. It is a new paradigm.
>>62834580Nasdaq lost almost 5% today and you're bullish?
>>62835583But why did the value go down?
>>62834580its mainly just brown "people" that are still buttmad that they had to move to a white people country to not get raped and still believe the moon landing was fake because only white people landed on the moon
>>62839230No, no every OTHER time was a bubbleFor real it's a new paradigm™ai even told me it would subsidize my state sponsored neet lifestyle and everything; how could I not trust it?
>>62835465I don’t think it’s overpriced since it’s whole business model is to make humans redundant
>>62841367Ironically the only ones it makes redundant are the ones thinking it will save them lmaoIts such a fucking scam I can't believe this is reality
‘New paradigm’ traders are baggies that would have bought at the peak of the Dot-Com bubble. I’ve seen it happen before: they think that a new paradigm makes the stock market invincible. The Dot-Com bubble burst and they lost most of their money because they invested in unprofitable and overpriced companies.
Its literally become a matter of national securityHe who was the best AI wins, the spending wont stop (and it doesn't matter anyway)Literally new paradigm, unironically
>>62834580Chatgpt in 2023 blew normgoids. They had never heard of a chatbot before and were convinced they were talking to an artificial super intelligence. LLMs didn't even get good and become useful for research or code generation until recently and only now to normgroids catch on that its not really AI and turn against it.
OpenAI and Anthropic are using LLMs to spam these shill threads all over the internet (not just 4chan) because they've been cut off from the debt and equity markets and now are on the verge of bankruptcy.
Reminder that the US government has already pulled AI out of public reach its deemed as too advanced, AI stocks are going to create a whole generation of bagholders as people catch on that national security assets aren't allowed to be speculated on.
buy google and you win no matter what>not affected by gpu prices because they make their own internal TPUs>if ai crashes then less competition for search>deepmind working on alternative architectures it cannot fail
>>62834749>I'll never pay for it. Just not going to.nigger, free chatgpt : opus 5.5 is like talking to a black female DMV worker vs a white engineer at Lockheed.
>>62834814>NVIDIA has a PE ratio of 30, that's unsustainablewhy would it be? Coca Cola is 28, Home Depot is 22. Nvidia is a better company than either.
>>62834580>$1-2 trillion dollars invested, another trillion on the way>Crucial shut its doors to retail, selling exclusively to AI firms instead>supply for RAM and SSDs is so scarce retail has done a 2-3x even for basic bitch DDR4 in ARM products (which are perma- sold out now anyway bc production is now too expensive)>1/3 of GDP growth is AI-related the past year>AI industry has yet to turn a profit>"not a bubble"delusional OP
chatgpt4.0 was peak
>>62835640All on purpose so you stop coming here
>>62834588Uhh the main threat is occupy wallstreet levels of unison in boycotting these tools and vandalizing those higher ups that DO encourage those tolls use. Ai relies on physical products, really just depends how deep these anthropics hubris goes and how pissed people become.
>>62843518Just make free speech available somewhere else then if you want that. But you're never going to do that ;)
>>62843512The profit comes in the form of labor savings once the layoffs start. Every software engineer can see the writing on the wall, they're all nervous about how their job is just babysitting Claude agents now, which you don't need 10,000 devs each costing six figure salaries to do. And if you think those clerk, data entry, sales, or helpdesk jobs are any more complicated than programming, lol.
