Let AI do for you? Or go live in a country doesn't tax capital gains? Idk. I find it a decent idea to reinvest that shit daily.
>>
>>62831211
STRC dividends are counted against your cost basis, so you don't owe taxes on them until your cost basis is 0
>>
>>62831409
They are return on capital. Yet everyone calls them divs.

You just know the lower end of the bellcurve will lap this up.
It's only like 50% of the population in any given country which is like sub 90IQ at best

STRC has essentially zero hard guarantees, but
- Income ETFs by BlackRock, Fidelity, etc. already bought hundreds of millions worth of STRC, so the conditions may not be as outrageous and ridiculous as you think
- More income investors are expected to join once the product has a track record of multiple years, and more guarantees (e.g. for the cash reserve) may be set up in the future
- The company can easily pay the dividend for many, many years
- It's not in their interest at all to stop paying it and thereby close all access to new funding

The bet is that BTC will outperform 10-12% annual returns (or less if demand for this product goes up) in the medium term.
Because the company doesn't have to pay back the principal (it only has to pay the dividend perpetually), every $100 collected and invested in BTC gives them ~8 years of dividend runway to hopefully have another bull market that extends the runway.
If BTC fails to outperform STRC dividends, STRC simply starts consuming the existing BTC holdings beyond what was purchased with STRC.

Even BTC fans might wish to hold some STRC (and MSTR) because BTC often has unproductive long periods of sideways movements. In fact, if you cherry-pick the April 2021 top of 65k and the Aug 2026 prices in the 60s, BTC spent nearly 5.5 years of sideways movements with no gains whatsoever. Holding something like STRC would have doubled your money in the meantime.
