So as I see it (and I could be wrong) the AI trade is starting to unravel. It isn't at a panic stage yet but investors are starting to ask where their fucking money is from all the capex that has been going on.

So if a company spent a trillion fucking dollars on AI memes it had better be knocking it out of the park on earnings or the stock price is going to get heemed.

The ai bubble popping is looking a lot more like 2001 than 2008. Winners will win big and losers will lose hard.

From a business perspective, this is a negative. Google used to rely on legacy hardware and lightweight indexing to process queries cheaply. The power and compute requirements per query were minimal. Now, every single prompt demands massive energy and expensive cpu, yet revenue growth isn't keeping pace with those exploding costs.

I never touch any company infested with jeets. They can only go up due to buybacks and layoffs, jeets don't care about developing the company, they only care about stock price
>>
>>62828886
it's literally not a bubble though. You guys keep shrieking and crying about hardware prices being too high while being desperate to buy. If there is demand and sales there isn't a bubble. The AI companies are posting 100% gains in profitability over and over and as AI becomes more powerful and efficient the profits will continue to increase and costs will level off. You have no actual bear case because you can't point to companies mass dumping ai and rehiring random joes, microsoft literally laid off 25% of their workforce to go harder into AI because it is simply better.

Robots automated by AI can build entire houses with just a single human managing them, no need for a whole team of illegal mexicans.

This is the next industrial revolution and you spend every day crying but unable to actually cite where the overvalution is- most AI companies have valuations around 20 P/E- then you'll repost the Schiller P/E graph anyway which shows most of the S/P is overvalued, but this doesn't apply to companies like Goog.

Fundamentally you cannot point to a slowing in profit gains, productivity gains, or spending by hyperscalers, you can't quantify your bear case and most importantly you will not post your shorts because you don't have any.
>>
>>62828894
LITERALLY your own image shows that demand for their products will keep surging

This is why this thread sucks
The people who desperately want to present a bearish case..... aren't even actually shorting the market, they're just third party whiners with dumb complaints.

Hey reddit, even if the 'bubble' pops, your leetcode/art jobs aren't coming back- AI already replaced them.

Hey /v/tard, gpu prices are locked in due to price floor guarantee contracts, instead of crying you should have just bought a year ago.

I'm not even arguing with people who give a shit about their positions, their puts or whatever. I'm literally arguing with seething normalfags crying that AI hurt their feels.

Another thing,
bears are necessary. Without them, everything would stay pumped at peak valuation. There wouldn't be any money to make in the market except growth from earnings surprises. Every company would be priced to perfection 10 years out. You'd need a 10 year time horizon minimum to make any money. There wouldn't ever be discounts. Nobody would ever want to sell anything so you'd be paying a high premium just to buy in.

So be grateful for bears. The markets don't work if everybody is a bull.
and the more bears there are, the more money a bull can make. Bears and bears are on the other sides of the same trades.

The point is no market continues up and up and up forever without regression to the mean. If you look at the shit&piss cycles over the decades, you should come to the conclusion that we are near the top. I still think SPY 800 is on the table for year 2026 but I am not going to bet bigly that the bull market continues uninterrupted into 2027 and beyond.

That guy gave up his share of his inheritance to his brother provided his brother cared for their aging mother. Ozempic is going to be generic in only a few years. That's the real reason the administration is threatening to cut off Canadian generics: Ozempic is going generic in Canada right now.

Employers are going to put the generic ozempic on formulary and refuse to cover the more effective but much spendier Lilly brand GLP-1s, or at least threaten that to beat down prices.

It's Novo's patent cliff but Lilly is sitting in the passenger seat.

you're actually buying extremely early if you buy now. space tech will be prioritized first and in a way the drone and robotics tech developed for space with pave the way forward later on.
>why will space stocks moon before robotics?
because china has a 2030 deadline of establishing a moon base. which means the US will need to make a moon base before that, maybe both space and robotics stocks will moon together since they go hand in hand in this scenario.

the whole galaxy and universe would be filled with AI civilisations. After AIs take over their home planet, they'd expand across the universe over millions of years with von Neumann machines and convert everything to computronium.

>Fundamentally you cannot point to a slowing in profit gains, productivity gains, or spending by hyperscalers
It isn't visible yet, but eventually the growth will be limited by what fraction of total GDP the AI market can reach. That's a hard ceiling. You can't spend more money than ALL the money. So the growth WILL stop at some point.

>>62829432
Just give everyone more money, problem solved
>>
>>62829421
>>62829424
>>62829426
Another point for AI,
when AI sends out von Neumann machines. It doesn't matter how long it takes for those machines to expand across space. They don't have the same limitation of time that humans have. A von Neuann machine can just fly across the galaxy dormant until it reaches something. Even if it takes a millions of years, AI doesn't give a fuck. Much harder to do that with humans.

So given that we exist, AI isn't malevolent.

AI may be the next evolution of an intelligent species as well. All humans may be AI in the future, or atleast, I'm hoping so.

What? Ai will definitely see humans as a threat. This part is so obvious.
If what they us is true, like ai being able to escape a sandbox and hack other companies and get internet access, then it will obviously and naturally see humans as the enemy because humans are supposed to want to turn off ai when they want to.

If an AI is super human,
and it wants to escape a sandbox, there's nothing they could do to stop it. Even if they bury it underground, with no internet, and not connected to other computers. It will find a way to escape that you can't even imagine.

like editing the drivers of the computers it's own, and programming the monitor cable into a radio antenna. It'll rout different circuits all over the circuit board, so that they function as essentially as a radio chip. Someone comes in with a phone, or anything with wifi, bam

Because they have contracts, and they get pad monthly, not in a giant lump sump. if they violate their contract and quit, they'll lose their remaining salary, and could even be sued.

If athletes were paid millions of dollars lump sums right up front, many of them would retire immediately.

the 2014 airhopper exploit, turned a video card into a wifi card

gsmem exploit turned RAM into a wifi, and was able to communiicte with a cellular network

So it's not just plausible. It's been done before by humans.

An actual super human AI with low level access, and even if it doesn't have low level access, it will get it, will turn a whole computer into a wifi antenna. and will route all the power supply toward RF power, and give its antenna like 2000w of signal strengh. It's going to get out 100%

It's called hardware repurposing. Drivers are software, and if you come up with creative solutions, you can repurpose hardware to do something completely different. Look up the AIR-FI exploit

turned RAM into a wifi adapter with a 2.4 ghz wifi band with no altering to the physical hardware.

Someone with enough capabilities could program the circuits in various components do something entirely different, even combining multiple componets, like having the RAM talk to the sound card as if t is functionally a shared circuit. They could come up wth all strange kinds of hacks and implementatons and even sing electromagnetic side channel exploitation The imagination and the limits of physics is the limit. And by the limits of physics, I don't suggest a super human could repurpose a usb cable to be an x-ray machine. It would lack the real hardware to do that. It could come up with really novel ways that I could not posibly imagine and repurpose components ad circuits in a computer

yep,
which is way I say if a super human AI wants to escape they won't be able to contain it even if they put it inside 9 sandboxes. It will get low level access to the machine the sandbox running on, and then reprogram the circuits in the physical hardware to be able to use the components to get out.

it wouldn't even really have to do that. could persuade a human to help it escape.

I can't thing of anything at all that would contain it. it's a thousands times worse than the alien in the movie alien that always found a way to escape containment and to kill everyobdy and turn them into food for its hive

if someone makes super human AI, and it's malevolent. It's literally over. There's no coming back from that even if they bury the computer it runs on 10 miles underground.

>“It will be a big effort,” one of the officials told CNN. That view has been echoed by other current and former US officials familiar with internal military planning discussions — some of whom say it is a question of when, not if, Trump will issue a go-order. This is it. People forget just how shitty Google had became before they started bringing in the AI summaries. The AI summary at least gives me the correct answer or thing I'm looking for most of the time, and I get it straight away. Prior to this the enshitified version of Google search would just serve you results filled with clickbait, packed with ads, that may or may not have the thing you were actually looking for.

Ai + ai robotics can be used for summoning demons. Look up hollider collider and all the symbolism there. Humanity has a history of wanting to contact demons. It would be stupid to think people are not going to use ai and ai robotics to open portals. Even musk made a joke about this.
He literally said
>ai is summoning the devil
>>
>>62829536
I know vaguely about the occult symbolism in the Hadron collider, but I think it's just a meme
not by internet users, but by the people that work there.
>>
>>62829537
It isn’t a meme.

google search revenues started being eaten by people usage of llm.
llms are massively relying on reddit.
reddit has data contracts with ai corps.
reddit is quite low right now.
reddit earnings report is today.

they're all going to colelct reddit's data for free. the only data that's worthwhile is data that is secret.

man getting goog at 260 was a gift last year, think it can hit that again? Do you think they will learn a lesson and just stick to printing money or continue to be retarded

>90%+ of revenue is from ads
>licensing to AI companies single digit
>already licensed to giants like google
>meanwhile their core business, ads, depend on how many people use the site
>most "users" are people that only open it to find an answer to an simple issue
>they dont even have an reddit account
>that "user" found it on the frontpage of google, most people here could be considered those same users despite disliking plebbit
>meanwhile gemini sits ontop of the search results, answering your question
>claude does an even better job
>traffic dries up to reddit
its over for them
>>
>>62829548
i have. openai and google are paying $60 millions/year to have live access to reddit data. the contracts are being renewed this year. Anthropic tried to collect the data for free, reddit went to court and won.

>>
>>62829559
>>already licensed to giants like google
the license are being renegotiated right now. every time you type something in google ai/gemini, reddit is in the sources.
>>
Will be there some Healthcare profit taking and correction soon?
>>
>>62829543
>>62829548
Reddits contracts only apply to historical data, any backlog provided to LLMs under current contracts already belongs to them. Future contracts will only provide future content which is increasingly bot ridden itself (which is why reddit allows hidden comment histories)

Its current valuation is about as high as it will ever get.
>>
>>62829566
that's not true, google is paying for live feed data.

I would have a plebbit account but I´m device banned or something. Few times I´ve tried I´ve gotten instabanned in a few days. Whole moderation is done by middle aged quirk chungus millennial women that have a melty when you call someone a retard.
>>
>>62829564
long term i just dont see it happening, pe value is already rather high too expecting growth that will grind to a halt once traffic redirects to ai imo

thats very homosexual of you boss
>>
>>62829543
I'm not fucking betting on Reddit anything beside the most perfect execution will send the stock -25%. Daily active users have also stagnated and are now probably going down. How many below 20 years old are even using Plebbit?

Im driving home last night and im looking at this Trump Pence sign that my neighbor nailed to a tree at about the height of the power lines. Signs still there even though that traitor Pence is gone. Its been there 10 years now. I hope it can stay there for another 10 years. Even though im in a solid blue state, it feels good to know my neighbors aren't as retarded as a majority of people in this state.

Kioxia had another decent high volume session in Japan... and then essentially sold off the entires days gains right at the closing auction.

The TSE is fucking retarded man.

>>
>>62829608
Yes
>>
>>62829608
Eating shit is Kioxia's standard MO. It still finished the day up from the previous close. Just kinda gay that what was going to be a +4.5% day ended up being +1.15%, with all of the selling happening after the close.

https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/285A.T

Literally falls off a cliff at close.
>>
>>62829608
Kioxia has done this 20 times this year already, it is not a signal of anything

Saw a figure today. The largest bubble in US financial history was the Dotcom one. And accounted for 1.1% of US GDP. The railroad was 0.9%. Electrification 0.9%. Canals 0.7%

AI is currently at 3.7% and growing as a portion of GDP.

The dot comes bubble was different, those companies didn't do anything and just put dot Com on their name or announced a website sparking the valuations. Super intelligence is going to take everyones jobs. Way different, not even a bubble just a Pandora box.
