One of the biggest long time certainties of our present economy is that there will be more demand for semis in the future. Once we get through the current bubble, anyone would be well served by putting a tiny amount in SOXL (like 1% of net worth) and then doing your best not to look at it for 20-30 years. If it absorbs at zero it's not much lost, and if it doesn't it'll probably be a meaningful chunk of your net worth at the end.

Nah the daily reset is the entire point. It's not 3x performance over the long term; either it goes to near zero and effectively absorbs there or absolutely moons since the etf keeps piling on leverage as it goes up.

It's a positive expected value lottery ticket. Size SMALL, don't think about it, don't look at it, don't expect anything from it, if it works you'll have a notably fatter/earlier retirement and if it doesn't not much lost.

Airbus planes are noticeably nicer as a passenger, and with people increasingly using google flights which tells you the frame people are increasingly realizing that it's because they were on an airbus and not just good luck. Being the less desired option by travelers won't be good for Boeing's pricing power long term, once travelers demand a discount to fly a Boeing (it's coming I think) the airlines will demand one to buy one too.

Also look at that chart. Just fucking look at it. You want to buy into that?

Today is over. Tomorrow is what you mean. I think this recent sell off was the most fake and gay thing I've seen, tech is ironically (yes, ironically, not 'unironically') undervalued, market is scared to price in non-cyclical production so we can get excess returns by bearing that risk.

My coworker no joke had an OF wife (who openly flirted with me before I knew they were dating, prior to marriage) and eventually they got divorced and he's trans now.

She wasn't even that hot, just a snotty/mucus gamer nerd vibe who I knew I could bang (had glasses and was thin/petite). Tried to ignore her but she was always looking at me in standups. When I heard they were married and it clicked she was such a whore and he had problems it suddenly made sense.

I never met anyone with OF before that, didn't know until post-divorce. it was crazy when he started going by Justina and painting his nails black. We'd work together and he'd talk about his divorce and needing medication (hormone stuff). He was a great dude, too. Ex-military, mentally strong as a co-worker. Was a source of relief for others.

I really wanted to help him somehow but it's something you can get fired for if it goes wrong these days. If he was a high school friend I would've tried to help by force. I would not let one of my day ones do something like that. Or marry a whore.

https://fortune.com/2026/10/26/ai-zero-financial-payoff-outside-big-tech-apollo-slok-goldman-peak/

> “Despite massive investments and widespread hype around artificial intelligence, the technology has delivered zero financial payoff to corporate America outside of tech,” Slok wrote in a note Saturday.

> Hatzius wrote in a note to clients Monday that the growth impulse from the AI boom was set to peak in late 2026 or early 2027 “even before concerns around the sustainability of the AI investment boom intensified in recent weeks.”

> Inflation-adjusted revenue per worker and profit margins are rising for the Magnificent 7 and flat for everyone else in the S&P 500, which he calls the S&P 493. Productivity growth shows no AI lift either, he wrote, citing the San Francisco Fed’s utilization-adjusted measure of total factor productivity.

>“With no impact on the bottom line, mainstream corporate America is pulling back and starting to view token spending not as a source of growth but as a cost center that weighs on margins,” Slok wrote.

>Mainstream corporate America “does not need the latest model and is unwilling to pay for it.”

I've been spending tonight working on my rage baiting (not only this general but others). In some way trolling makes you smarter and I need to have creative avenues, work on articulation, etc. I am saying this because you said you're old, and ability to articulate/vocabulary goes fast with age if not maintained. I am making some effort to maintain, open to advice.

Unfortunately something so satanic that as rage baiting is the new way to challenge yourself and grow. Streamers do this professionally. The demonic energy grows greater every year; I'm drunk but David Wallace predicted this and, maybe ironically, ironically advocated sincerism. You can't help now but think he's lucky given what's going on.

All this tells me is that the tech sector is the only industry with the balls to fire employees not contributing enough (also why it's over performed vs other industries).
Nike still has 73,000 employees to re-release air force 1s every year. That's more than nvidia, more than micron, far more than sandisk, way more than AMD, etc.
Let's go other industries! If you want your stock to perform like a tech company, you gotta get lean like a tech company.

When I don't know what my job is, I know at least what my body can do. I don't have one so I don't take up any space, just time. I take up a lot of time. Once I found that out, it was clear: my job is to explore, survey, conquer, and peacefully acquire time. I think it belongs to me. I do not want to take what doesn't belong to me. So I just have to figure out what belongs to me, confirm that, and then take what I need from what I already have. Because the truth, which I may or may not ever come to truly know, is that time already belongs to me wholly. It's mine. Then I can want all the time in the world, and have all I need. If my job was to actually take up as much space as possible, because that's how I grew, so that's what I do, then I just have to do a different job. You know what to do Alex. Don't take what's yours, just do your job. You want to so you Will. I felt compelled to shake this thought before I have breakfast or even seek it out or do ANYTHING ELSE for the day. Some work is done before the light comes, for me. That's how I grew. My head still has a mouth so using it is part of my job whether I like it or not.

I expect a small correction on the open, maybe an overreaction to STX, HOOD, either buying or selling before the buying eventually resumes, I can't say how it will start, followed by a giga pump in the semi sector until just before the FOMC, where everyone's gonna sit super tight with their buttholes clenched, making no sound whatsoever, fingers on the panic button. If the sentiment is dovish with no hike, it will omegapump for the last hour. If anything else happens, like...

hawkish + no hike = 1st degree crabbing
dovish + hike = 3rd degree crabbing
hawkish + surprise hike = rugpull

Japanese and Korean markets closed in giga green for semis. I wouldn't call it stable, but brent is under the $116-117 range for now. Might be ignored for the sake of the pump anyway. There's too much money to be made to care about real world problems such as inflation. Greed has a tendency to temporarily blind people. Futures are also green. All signs point towards a bullish start of the day that will end however the FOMC decide it should end.

>Intel to buy Israeli quantum software firm Classiq for about $2.3B in cash and stock.

>Intel has been investing in the development of quantum computing, and today it is the only company capable of producing qubit chips and complex cryogenic control electronics at-scale, using equipment and processes common to conventional silicon-based semiconductor manufacturing.

>The proposed acquisition of Classiq would combine Intel’s quantum software platform, scalable silicon spin-qubit technology and advanced semiconductor manufacturing expertise with Classiq’s automated quantum algorithm synthesis platform. The combination would enable Intel to become a full-stack quantum solutions provider

This acquisition could enable intel to build its "cuda" to lock quantum computing like nvidia did with gpu.

Any niggers here that swing trade semi's? I bought a share of Samsung a couple of weeks ago to test the waters (I have all my money in bogle ETFs) and I'm up over 14% after today's pump but I've never held a stock into earnings call before. Are you supposed to sell now or wait till tomorrow earnings call? I also bought the actual Korean stock on the kospi and didn't realise you get hit with a minimum 4k won fee per purchase so that also makes actively trading only a single stock expensive. I think the 4k fee is only on purchasing tho so if I do sell I would only purchase more stock If i transfer more money into Korean to bring the fee % down I guess.

My older brother was a standing Figure. New tonnage of toolage gets hauled out our brains time to time. When he was a lad, my stuff came to be known to him in ways more precise than even our older older brother's. To some, precision has meaning. We have brothers who make, so that I could see finer farther. I couldn't see it at first, but just because I don't see it doesn't mean it's not really there. If I fix my sight on something fine, if I have any chance to know it before its fineness is revealed to me truly, I can only extend credit to its existence before reaching confirmation. My brothers and I confirm each other to be sure the confirming is conforming, because our own older older older brother made us so. And he's one of us. There are people who know these things, and there are people who know the real story of my loving brother the Big Sig Fig. We give what is ours to all, and those who take what is theirs just get it. On that I'm confident we agree.

That’s not how it works. If the market loses faith the FED is serious about handling inflation it’ll be even worse. Meanwhile the idea that we are in a hiking regime is already priced in.

If the pokemon card guy is an equities expert now, the 'bubble' is still on.
Here's another theory for you on hardware/semis, from the 2025 april liberation day bottom you had a big pumparino on hardware yea? INTC recovered from its lows, micron was up over 200%, then sold off 20%. Not that bad, but from the june to november highs there was a long period of bearish crabbing before it recovered and found the next leg up in october. Then there was another 2 month selloff, down 25%, before it hit a 'blowoff' in january after earnings. Okay you're following me right? Then, then from january to april it sucked- the march earnings couldn't even break the previous ath and it dumped in early april but in may it exceeded the previous ATH set in january and this was the next leg up to june.

So apply to the wider semis market. Crab pump crab dump up down micron is up 4% in premarket, yeah? So I think we're going to reclaim the ATH, big run november-december like last year. Semis in general will follow a somewhat similar pattern, up again, touch those aths again. Then the next big dump because there will be a hike and down into early january. Then in spring when 'the war' finally ends we get the next leg up on semis.

Hope you know what you're doing. I'm not sure what international exposure means in the context of investing in just what feeds into the US AI chain. It's not something unique that's decoupled from everything else...

>>62825611
The FED cannot hike rates beyond a certain point or they risk a default due to how much they'll have to pay in interest alone. They had way more leverage when the debt was more manageable. They're ultimately just kicking the can down the road, hoping for either the AI to create a miracle or the entire system will have to go through painful financial repression. I don't see the alternative as the debt keeps increasing and GDP isn't exploding at the same or a faster rate. Maybe Elon's robots will save the day, but I wouldn't count on it. So it's all hopium. I see your case how the market could interpret this as things still being okay and under control. I did bring up a combination of options and my belief on how it will impact the market based on their decision and guidance.

Historically markets have always rallied after the midterms. I'd be wary of the CPI report in November. That could plunge things down for a reality check, but they'd rally back up soon after, especially if ANT plans to IPO late November.

Israel would retaliate but they wouldn't strike themselves, not now, not after all the retaliation they got for their shit. They'd rather use the US forces to do their dirty work. The 3rd carrier is on the way, due to arrive in late November. So we have a combination of good and bad things converging. If the warmongering retards hold back, we might just get a Christmas miracle.

Looks bad for Netanyahu.

Joint List: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_List
United Arab list (Raam): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ra%27am

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/10/27/world/middleeast/israel-election-arab-parties.html

>Mansour Abbas, the leader of Raam, told a television interviewer that the turnout showed that Arab voters, who make up about 20 percent of Israel’s population, had channeled their “frustration and despair” into “hope.”. He said he wanted to replace Mr. Netanyahu’s government “in every possible way” and that his first priority was to “ensure that there is a chance of forming a government” that achieved that goal.

>Of the two Arab parties that did well on Tuesday, only Raam has joined a coalition government in the past. That happened in 2021, when it joined the short-lived anti-Netanyahu coalition of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

What does this have to do with Iran? The liberal strategy with Iran was to bring it into the fold economically and integrate it into their world order. Very possible. I think that if Trump somehow holds both the house and the senate, that he'll take it easy before making any big or sudden moves. All bets are off if he loses both though. He might go scorched earth in retaliation for a perceived betrayal. I mean, in the end the attacks will resume, that's a given, only question is when.

He must've heard or interpreted some news that he has good odds at holding both, reason why he stayed his attacks on Iran last weekend. Could be just vibes, fuck do I know. Considering how hot inflation is and that he caused this with the initial attacks, I'd lean on the odds that he's gonna lose both or at the very least the house. All he had to do was focus on domestic affairs instead of starting shit abroad and he'd be fine. He just couldn't resist. He grabbed them right by the Hormussy.

>Unlike traditional stock options, whose value is tied to share price moves, KPI options would allow investors to trade directly on metrics such as net sales, earnings per share, cloud-computing revenue or vehicle production. The cash-settled, European-style contracts, meaning they can be exercised only at expiration, would pay either $1 or nothing at expiration, depending on whether the reported metric meets the contract's strike level.

we will soon be able to on bet on how many vehicle Tesla produced
