    >OP is a fudding moonfag
What a sad state of affairs
    >Inb4 but he didn't say anything
The mooncarrot meme was started a few generals ago by a fudding moonfag crying about CARROT and then creating this false mooncarrot-loving persona.

    >>
    >>62785608
Mooncarrot is cool and the only good meme to come out of XMR recently. Nobody cares if you want to call the originator a moonfag, that’s how mooncarrot got its name in the first place.
    >>
    >>62785888
Mooncarrot sucks. It's literally just a carrot. It doesn't even have any convictions or goals. The only memes we need are Monerochan, Wownerochan (because I like dog girls) and extremists.
    >>
For anyone here who's into workouts, I've been working on a strength coaching project built around Monero.

No accounts, no cards, just personalized training programs paid in XMR.

There's also a free 4-week training program on the site if anyone wants to check it out.

    https://cipherstrength.net

    Would appreciate some feedback.

    https://github.com/jeffro256/carrot/blob/master/carrot.md
It is tracking the upcoming carrot fork.
    >Carrot (Cryptonote Address on Rerandomizable-RingCT-Output Transactions) is an addressing protocol for the upcoming FCMP++ upgrade to Monero which maintains backwards compatibility with existing addresses. It does this while bringing new privacy and usability features, such as outgoing view keys.

Don’t shit on the last great PR for Monero as after this it’s going to be LLM tainted which remains functionally the same, but far “gayer”
    >In the beginning,
The carrot is necessary. Since there was only one address per wallet, a method was needed for receivers to differentiate their senders. An arbitrary 32 byte string attached to transactions, was the initial solution to this problem. The aim was that users sending funds would include a 32 byte message that gave the recipient user enough evidence to attribute that transaction to them. Integrated addresses improved the UX of these payment IDs by having the recipient's wallet generate and include them inside of addresses, which were automatically added to the transaction data by the sender's wallet. They were also shortened to 8 bytes. Wallets then started encrypting the payment IDs on-chain, and adding dummies if no payment IDs were used, which greatly improved privacy. With the carrot, we have some security properties which are to hold for Carrot. Unless otherwise specified, it is assumed that no participant can efficiently solve the decisional Diffie-Hellman problem in Curve25519 and Ed25519.

    >efficently

What does that mean? It’s a understatement, it means if you can efficently crack a private key you can crack monero transaction privacy

Monero has been "beaten" by dozens of memecoins over the years. What's one more?
    >>
    >>62786944
Because it's easy to create a false dilemma with
    >X is changing
    >This will surely destroy Monero
    >And even if it doesn't completely the devs will be too slow/stupid/etc to fix the damage x causes
    >There are no other outcomes that could exist in this hypothetical scenario
    >What will the devs do about this thing that I'm not required to answer specifics about, but you are?
    >>
    >>62787091
Yes but why are they kvetching about AI right now? The millennium problem was 'solved' weeks ago, same for the gorillion unreviewed math papers they published, they also did lots of spooky hacks. Why would a fudder start with this now and not like a month ago?
    >>
    >>62787109
Occam's Razor says they're just late to the party like they were with the CARROT fud. Call me naive but I don't think it's any deeper than that
    >>

    >you’re only allowed to have questions at this specific time
    >>62787285
    >you’re only allowed to have questions at the same time as other people

Should we develop a standard for questions to the esteemed Monero community? I think we have a good start:

Someone is ONLY allowed to ask critical questions about Monero if they: (i) have zero fun while doing it (ii) simultaneously provide specific original research that predicts the future of how it will affect Monero, (iii) provide alternative investment decisions assuming Monero doesn’t work out, (iv) provide ONLY ONE question at a time, (v) ask said question ONLY within the first 48 hours of said issue being discussed on Twitter, (vi) ask said question ONLY while said question is popular among other people.

Did I forget anything? Should we put it in the OP?

Fact 4) Monero reputation is bearish not bullish as is will scare off new buyers

Testosterone level in crypto are at ATL with no sign of support.
The few who found a way to buy BTC early, besides having a good information, had balls of steel to blindly buy something against the gov control. Almost no markets. And those few were scammy and buggy af.
    So stop bitching!

Current price action has nothing to do with crypto or adoption.
It's just investors playing it safe, buying into a narrative. Probably the riskiest thing they've done is improper parking.

As soon as the digital euro starts (2029), people will look for an alternative.

People are waking up. The rest of crypto is dying, as it should, and that value has to flee to real crypto, stables or die.

More and more people are having funds FROZEN, especially stablecoins. Better to save in XMR and swap out as needed. The pump aslo invites those looking for some quick ROI.

This came out in march and so far there seems to be no realistic path for Monero to become quantum resistant before such a computer can crack it in ONLY 3 YEARS

    >no realistic path for Monero to become quantum resistant
    Via Grok:
In future planning for a full post-quantum migration, developers have discussed a
post-quantum turnstile (or similar migration mechanism). The high-level idea is:
The network eventually activates a new, quantum-resistant consensus/addressing
    protocol.
Users are given a window to move funds from old
(classic/CARROT-legacy-compatible) outputs into the new PQ scheme via a special
    migration transaction (the “turnstile”).
After a cutoff, classic-style spends are no longer accepted by consensus.
Outputs that were never migrated become unspendable (or can only be claimed under
very restricted, carefully designed conditions that a quantum attacker cannot
    abuse).
This prevents a quantum adversary from simply recovering private keys of remaining
classic outputs and draining them after the cryptography is broken. The turnstile
itself is designed so that migration proofs remain secure even against quantum
    computers.
Importantly, current designs indicate the turnstile is primarily (or exclusively)
usable with CARROT-derived accounts/keys, not pure pre-CARROT legacy key
hierarchies. That is one reason developers emphasize generating or migrating to
CARROT-compatible wallets while the cryptography is still classical—so that a clean
    migration path exists later.

This almost is sadder than the utter blasphemy of making her seem like a saint. Sainthood is reserved for actual people only, as we are the only ones who can acquire the likeness of God through His grace. That means that God remains in them and they remain in God, so making her seem like le based orthodox saint is reducing God to just some benevolence and sainthood to just being somewhat good.
Saints are not venerable due to their own character and deeds but the glorification given by Christ for their life. The veneration is rendered onto God through His saints which reflect His majesty like a mirror reflecting an inkling of sunlight.

For every other coin, yes, but Monero is pretty much the only coin where this would cause the price to go UP. If there is someone out there who discovered an inflation bug and is printing Monero all willy-nilly, all they have to do is a.) not tell anybody shit about fuck and b.) not sell obscene amounts all at once that it crashes the market. They could theoretically sell a smallish amount of their fake Monero at the hour every hour or at a similar interval in perpetuity at market prices through many different exchanges and the price would actually increase because there is suddenly more activity in the market. Again, since nobody can "look at the chain" and say "Heyyy wait a minute, this random address that previously had zero coins and now all of a sudden has a gorrilion coins and is selling them. Holy fucking shit, I think they're just printing them out of thin air! Everybody quick! Sell it all, it's over!", as long as they don't get too greedy or tell anyone everyone else literally has no way to disprove this because of Monero's privacy.

    >>62832534
What part of this only happens when you KNOW it's happening don't you get? Monero has infinite supply just like USD. If I print a fake USD at home and spend it, market activity goes up, GDP goes up, USD appears stronger. If I print 1 Trilllion USD and spend it, market crashes everyone knows what I did and that it's fake USD I'm spending. Same as Monero. I print one fake Monero and spend it. Monero appears stronger, causes others to buy Monero, suddenly more demand, price increases. I print 1 Trillion Monero, market sell it, suddenly everyone knows I have more Monero than possible, all confidence is lost, Market crashes. This literally only works because of Monero's obscure ledger. On Ethereum or similar, everyone would know of my fake coins the second they're minted.

think xmr is gonna pump hard with the recent binance hack? xmr market cap is only $11 billion. the money that didn't get frozen in the hack was $3.3 billion. if they wash half of that through xmr that's over 10% of its market cap. add to that the FOMO from the price action drawing money in, we could see a rather large pump. if you're not in xmr yet i'd suggest getting in if you want to make a quick buck, in my humble opinion

Because XMR is secure but external networks are traceable, if you change everything directly to XMR, the liquidity pools, etc. If large volumes move suddenly, emergency systems hold the funds and notify the authorities; if, on the other hand, you first mix them many times, by the time it reaches XMR and you realize the trail, the funds cannot be held. metaphysics is the only correct answer.
they know down under that monero is the best crypto and their subconscious (the devil) instructs them to produce suffering/loosh. so they hate monero to the point of their own destruction.
that is like the asking the super rich* why they hoard money they cant spend, the answer is to create suffering with them knowing it or not.
its like asking a homo why it fucks assholes knowing it is not a reproductive thing. or why people tattoo their clean skin to get cancer and look like a public toilet. In the lens of naturalism / evolution it makes zero sense. the only explanation is Gnosticism. they are breed as servants/pain pigs of the demiurge.
