    What did dinosaurs look like?
    >>
They survived so long and in so many places they probably looked like everything that anyone has ever imagined and tons of things nobody has ever thought of. Also almost none of them fossilized as a percentage of those that existed. Rocks preserve only tiny snapshots of very specific times and places. So if we could see every single species that ever existed there would be millions of different types instead of the thousand or so we know of.

This is true but we can still know a lot more than you'd think just from the snapshots we do have. For one thing the continents were much closer together up until the Late Cretaceous so the kinds of animals that existed across most of the world were probably largely similar, it's not like today where if you could only see Australia you'd have no way of knowing what kinds of animals were on other continents.

We can make guesses about how dinosaurs looked based on their bones

i don’t see any advantage to having the small arms. medium arms would be ideal.
    >>
    >>5165029
Smaller arms are basically a way to save weight so the head can become bigger
    >>
    >>5165029
dinosaurs with large arms were able to masturbate which prevented them from reproducing with real dinosaurs

it is one of the issues with bipedalism in general

    pic unrelated

Why would you evolve long claws to reach out for tree branches when your neck is longer than your arms? Giant ground sloths had a short neck so it made sense
    >>
    >>5165029
Multiple theropod lineages (abelisaurs, carcharodontosaurs and tyrannosaurs) evolved reduced arms because they didn't need them, they used their jaws for killing prey to the point that the arms were mostly useless. It's the same reason why apes don't have tails.

According to archives you've been saying this since 2020 and not once did anyone try to correct you.

Presumably because there's nobody here to correct you.

Don't need arms when your head and mouth work perfectly fine. Arms shrink to save weight and energy.

    >What did dinosaurs look like?
Depends when and where. Dinosaurs lived in a window of somewhere between 165 to 175 million years.
