>>9331510>>9332324Yeah, see the problem with that is that it's literally from a tumblr ask I send directly to the artist back in the days before apple forced them to ban porn, that's pre 2018, so I literally do not recall any names or monikers for that artist.I know I've posted that Dib solo in a couple of threads here and there in the recent past. >these threads used to last a month on average>after a while they started going on longer and longer>thread 42 took exactly 4 months to roll off the board post bump limit on page ten, a new record>the seasons literally changed while one thread was up>only nine deliveries on the anchor in that time This thread is fucking dead, and the same can be said for the drawthread on the /d/ board itself for eastern characters. There is little point to this drawthread anymore, imo the requests should either be merged with the main (which has also slowed) or this thread dropped entirely.I've noticed that with the population drop on 4chan, the first type of requests to suffer are the odd ball niche ones. When there were more artists on 4chan, the odds were much better for these types of niche things. But now, its seemingly pointless - artists know niche fetishes command top dollar so its no wonder they don't want to draw them for free anymore. Especially on this sinking ship of a website.
>>9329139I would like the second the diver one. Though I think he's already doing something else.
I'd like to point out there is currently a drawthread up on /x/, they are a once in a while happening >>>/x/43095822So if any artists wants to draw some weird /d/ level shit there or take requests, feel free, especially cause it's Halloween season.
>>9336631you again? lol
>>9329107I don't mean to be a dick, but I'm rather annoyed with how you go about offering drawings.A few months ago you post>Any one want an Anne asphyxiation/ bondage peice? (Would prefer drowning but any kind of breathplay is fine)You get a reply from an anon>Maybe something as simple as the cement shoes in a lake, but with a vibrator buzzing in her pussy. Though for a particular bonus, I'd love to see an xray view showing her heart struggling from the drowningNot only did the pic take an excessively long time to surface (you originally asked in May, then posted it in August), but you basically didn't even bother to do the request as asked - instead of cement shoes, she was tied to a large rock, no vibrator, no xray view. You posted it as "request done" but to me it wasn't you just ended up drawing what you wanted because you missed the specifics. I don't even think the OR was even around at that point either.I don't mind if an artist comes in asking for requests, but when you already pre-select a character, you strip away half of the request making process because we can't choose a character, only situation. It's as if you want to draw the character for yourself but are stuck on ideas. That's not offering to draw requests imo, thats you poking around for suggestions on a character that interests you personally, and if you aren't even going to follow them closely, then what's the point? It's not a request, you just came to thread and drew and posted what you wanted. And hey, I also don't mind artists posting non-requested artwork in drawthreads either, but lets call a spade a spade here in that you are camouflaging personal drawings under the guise that they are requests.
>>9329107And if this is you >>9329631, if now you're going to be overly picky with what is suggested to you, then I don't know what to tell you man, get your ideas elsewhere then if they aren't good enough for you. And if it takes you three months to deliver one out of the five things suggested to you, at that point I doubt any of the OR's will be around, though that might not even matter if you don't follow the request properly to begin with.
>>9336824>I doubt any of the OR's will be aroundNTA but you're here (and complaining about your free art), no?
>>9336823Hey saw your post and yeah I did mess upThis summer was crazy for me with work and family drama going on so I do apologize for how long the drawing took still no excuse but I’m just here to set the record straight. And I heavily apologize for messing up the request, when I first starting sketching the request I had some trouble with the poses, and it took me so long to draw that it got lost in translation with the pics ending up as the results:If anything after this request I can do a proper drawing later after I finish Jaiden.>>9336824Will say this tho, this is not me, I just I was away from the thread for, let’s say a day or two since I don’t usually keep records on time, I was looking at both >>9330017 and >>9329139 post since they looked the more interesting and less time consuming to draw, the person is probably some troll or something?
>>9336827>but you're here (and complaining about your free art), no?I wasn't the one who asked for that drawing.I just found it a bit deceitful to call it a finished request delivery when imo, it wasn't.It's also the fact the artist put so much effort into it and got the small specifics wrong about the request, so again, it makes it feel less like a drawing for the requester and more like a pic the artist just wanted to draw for themselves and share.>>9336971>Hey saw your post and yeah I did mess upIt wasn't my request.Sorry for coming down hard on you, I just didn't like what I saw transpire. I'm not discrediting the quality of the art at all, infact you drew very high quality regarding both the character and the setting and you drew three images and all fully colored. I think its very nice of you to put that much effort into it considering some people here only get uncolored scribbles. But if I had been that requester, to wait three months and get something so high quality but it has all the small particulars incorrect, it would be very disappointing and feel less like a drawing for me and more like a person project for the artist. And you could have dropped it totally due to busywork in life so I'll also say its still nice you at least came back, and often times artists will just vanish without a trace.I wish you'd consider at least offering requests as a blank state where the anon can choose the character, whether it be a character anon likes or a roaster of characters you offer. I realize you might not want to draw a character offered due to whatever reason, though.>Will say this tho, this is not meNoted, sorry for the misfire, I thought you were getting a bit annoyed that the requests were not hardcore enough.>the person is probably some troll or something?Uh, don't know where you got that from, they look like legit requests to me.
>>9336983I just say it’s probably a troll or something to come with some short of conclusion Sometimes I just have a poor choice of wording thingsAlso don’t be afraid to come down on me, it helps me be better as an artist^^
