The quintessential battle shounen is Dragon Ball and it's popularity poll is something like Goku, Vegeta(Both change depending on time), Gohan, Piccolo(Again changes depending on time), Future Trunks/Present Trunks (I don't think present Trunks is that popular, he just gets points because of the future version) and finally maybe Frieza. >The teacherI've never seen this archetype ever top the polls. In fact the only one I can think of is Gojo and he hardly fits in to the 'teacher' archetype to begin with.
