The anime adaptation was boring. I liked the RWBY manga drawn by Shirow Miwa a lot more. I wish it wasn’t axed so early.
Monty was really a tragic death. Not only only an an individual "he was too young" level, which is true, but his animation skills were just so impressive to me. They were high energy as well as weighty, and he was good at incorporating more than 2 combatants without it feeling like one was just waiting for their turn (usually)
