Following on the Climax Necromance dump >>291881799 we're starting a dump of the translated chapters of Mizukami's ongoing Saihate no Solte, which is drawn by him and is crazier but is on a quarterly release schedule so waiting is torment. Anyway, the official scans are exactly caught up with the scanlations so I'll post Duralumin's and DSBro's scans and we'll hope another volume drops during the dump, and maybe move on to more obscure Mizukamis down the road.
>>291946593Oof, already starting at full speed huh.
>>291946141>we're starting a dump of the translated chapters of Mizukami's ongoing Saihate no SolteOh coolI had bought this year's volume but hadn't got around to reading because I would have to reread the other books over again firstSo maybe I'll tag along for this
>>291947318ahem.sairy fexthat is all.
>>291947436Thanks OP!
That was a big chapter 1
>>291946392So her name is Solte Shugar? What is this, a Chrono Cross fanfic?
>>291947436Thanks for dumping!
>>291948985In a way all of Mizukami's works are Chrono Cross fanfics
>>291946991>>291947028>>291947039Always love Mizukami's goofy supernatural creatures, they're the perfect balance of silly, weird, and threatening usually.
>>291946991I see, it's a Meaheim ripoff
>>291948846Most the chapters for Solte are an alright size, though they've gotten a bit shorter over time as he's gotten busy with real life and writing for Climax Necromance.>>291948985She's basically a candy themed Magical Girl, see >>291947342 So of course her last name sounds like Sugar.>>291949539Older than Meaheim by a few years, and both probably are inspired by the same types of manga. When it first got going people were calling it a Made In Abyss knock off. They're both pretty good reads and the authors seem to like each other's works.
>>291946430DANGER
Is this series still on haitus? It's been a while.
>>291950871It's chugging right along
>>291946742>you have to take all the treasure>why are you doing this?!
>>291947342>has character growth>hair gets longerMy type of manga
>>291946141Nice, I loved Solte but the release schedule made me drop it for a while. Time for a refresher.
>>291947570Understandable
>>291946141Thx.
>>291946231>>291947436I'd take Duralumins scripts with a grain of salt. The guy is one of those "translators" who think they can "improve" a script and get very liberal with tone and explicit dialogue structure. Solte in particular offended me because he set his headcanon in stone on what she should sound like despite later chapters not meshing well with his choices. He covered it up well when he was doing Spirit Circle but he peppers in weird changes here and there on the Mizukami stuff he worked on and even outright changed names. The faggot even tried to make his "translation" of the title "Solte the Traveler" the "official" english title on Mangadex when "World End Solte" was blatantly in the raws of the first chapter and on the publisher site.
>>291946320who would WANT to go to a place called cave of madness
